Recycled platinum does not mean it is platinum that has been somehow discarded and then recycled. It means the platinum is not sourced from a newly minded source of platinum. This is important for the use of precious metals, as there are many human rights abuses facilitated by the precious metals mining industry. This is a common terminology for sourced precious metals in the jewelry industry.

As someone else states there are reasons why it's stated that it's recycled platinum. Some people care about human rights and some don't. The stepped date apature has an important benefit - it makes the date easier to read by getting rid of the dark shadow. This is beautifully slim. I love it for many reasons.

While i appreciate the finishing, the dial is incredibly boring. Also tried one on a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't get over how sharp the bracelet was.

@@stanwilson7040 the movement is beautiful but that's more a credit to Val Fleurier, the 3rd party designer and maker of the movement than Czapek themselves. This piece is great but not great enough to ask the same price as a Royal Oak. Also, in person it is TINY and wears like a 39 instead of a 40.5....
