Czardas (Monti) arranged for 2 violins and piano by Julie Berthollet. Violinists: Julie and Camille Berthollet - Pianist: Amnon Shahal. Performed at the Eglise luthérienne - Geneva - August 2010
Both were children: tie size of the violins look like violas for adult players, but it was no problem at all for both of them. A very interesting arrangement, and a lively intepretation.
I bought it simply on Amazon. Comes with the piano partitura, and separately the violin sheet in it, not particularly expensive, I remember maybe 16 $ around, but well worth it, good quality. Very difficult to play it well fill with impro and grace notes, however, it can be played and modified to the level of expertee, also, there are many videos on RU-vid teaching it how to play it, shifts, etc. very nice piece, and surprisingly, what I found, looks more difficult than it is... , for me took a year to be able to play it on a basic level, now I'm fine tuning it, with good vibrato, ... Any way, victor Monti. The "Monti csa'rda's" but it s spelled, wrongly, czardas, how you can find it...., probably there are csa'rda's dance of Hungarian on RU-vid to see how it was danced back in the days, 1700's 1800 's husza'r era....
