For their part and these days the main concerns of Czechs are: corruption, the cost of energy, immigration, the lack of affordable housing and the future within the European Union. Czech Republic is one of the safest countries in Europe.
The friendly countries of the Czech Republic are: Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and in general all those of the European Union. As for enemies, Czech power identifies Russia by its geopolitical position. The Czech Republic has a firm position within the EU, being a strong ally of the United States and actively participating in NATO.
The Czech Republic has a developed market economy, with constant growth in recent years. The transition from communism to capitalism was not as traumatic as in other latitudes and the economy amalgamated healthy standards. That is why unemployment is at very low levels.
Although the Czech Republic is not the main destination for migrant workers to the European Union, 5.3% of the workforce in 2023 is made up of foreign workers, mainly from: Ukraine, Vietnam, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria.
