as the owner, i say they were careful but not hostile!!!

I happened to meet one 2 days ago at my workplace and I can assure you, the owner is very knowledgeable about this breed thus he said; "My dog is the very first of its kind that isn't initially afraid of human beings but still isn't interested in others than the leader, me. It took me 2 years to get the perfect one by breeding two/getting from a breeder, though she came out shorter than an average Czech Slovakian wolfdog, as females are taller by 10cm and males by 20cm. Their nature is perfect as guard and border guard dogs due to their nature being extremely cautious of other human beings. And they only get stuck with a person ONCE (leader/owner). They are an extremely intelligent (wolf)dog breed." or something like that but most is definitely what I remember.

Who cares about content ? yes they are low content by definiton, they are approved breed. Most of Czechs would not hide but they wouldn;t be running around or barking either, most of them would just observe. A bit weird seeing them act that doglike, might be czech mixed with dog, cause they do inherit being suspiscious of strangers from wolf.

they are not a wolf hybrid. They began that way, todays czechs are their own breed or dog…

@@saarlooswolfhund6237 Wolfdogs are territorial animals, ore so than dogs, they will typically react like this to ppl not a part of their family coming near their home, stop pretending to be an expert, everyone who knows about wolf dogs know they are typically more territorial than other dogs

@@patrickdoherty3541 You especially, dear, you're definitely not an "expert" when you blurt out that wolfdogs are more "territorial" than "other dogs". Where do you get this nonsense from? Wolfdogs exhibit every behavior that the common house dog exhibits. The extent to which this takes place has to do with character and, above all, EDUCATION . These two dogs right here are freaking out, they're going into aggressive skipping acts because their excitement level is way over the top. One dog bites the other away from the gate (skipping act! ) because he sees this as his RESOURCE and wants to have fun fighting the postman alone without competition. This clearly allows conclusions to be drawn about a poor upbringing. If my dogs behaved like this, they would get an enema from me. And yes, I definitely know more about wolfdogs than you do, I've had and train these dogs for decades. If you have any questions about training your dog to behave better than the two dogs in the film, don't hesitate to ask. 😉

But in the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog is just a minimum part Wolfcontent. Something about 25-28 %. A good CWD from a serious breeder has not to be shy, and of course, many of them do protection sport.

Even from good breaders Czech needs alot of socialization towards other dogs and people to not be aggresive to dogs and shy of people, some are still more shy then others and males when they become adults can still be aggresive towards other males. They are not good at protection or any sports, they are not interested in either of those things, tracking, digging, exploring, thats what they are into. And I never seen Czechs acting so doglike as these two, especialy barking like dogs, most Czechs do know how to bark, but they barks are not continous there is a pause between each bark and barks are much deeper.

I always use the term "Vlcak" to completely avoid associations made with hybrids.

@@isaiahlarkin3979 no..american pitbull terriers are genetically dog aggressive,aswell as maybe some other dogs (mainly terriers,livestock guardians,and bulldogs). The only genetically human aggressive dogs are livestock guardians. Specifically caucasian shepherds

All postmen are vicious and ruthless. That's why dogs bark at them.
