@@BgGaGaScallywag You are getting it all confused. I can see why. What Serbs call "Metohia", Albanians call Dukagjini Plain. This area is the western half of Kosovo and has always been Albanian and populated by Albanians. The eastern half is what Serbs call "Kosovo". Albanians there may have had a lesser presence but have always been there still. Let me remind you that Kosovo is a Bulgarian time sot Serbian. Bulgarian Empire has controlled Kososo for a lot longer that the short lived Serbian Empire, which was made up by locals btw, including Albanians. Lead by Car Dushan (a Bulgarian nonetheless). Albanians used to dominate areas of Toplica and Sandjak but were expelled en masse since 1878 (1878 Albanian Massacres by Serbs). A lot of these populations moved down to Kosovo. That's how Kosovo's Albanian population increased in proportion from this period onwards. Hundreds of thousands were also expelled to fkn Turkey during this time. Sandjak now still has some Albanians but mostly are converted into #Bosniak" due to forced assimilation and xenophobia.

@@arrore Metohija is Christian where all the Saint Land for the Christian Orthodox are the expansion of Religion and expanding Muslim Faith like building the biggest Mosque in Pristina is promoting and occupying land that was never Albanian. Its pure provocation from one side. It will come sooner or later like a boomerang . It should be called like always has be Kosovo and Metohija. Metohija was always a seperate region not to confuse with Sandjak which is like Sumadija.
