@@DaftOldMan Ni-Cad is known and used for high current demanding applications. Why Li-Ion compensates in voltage. Did a few cordless drills and with more room able to do 2 or 3 Li-Ion cells parallel and that works great. Oldest one has been in service for over 30 years now. Till the motor gives up i guess.
