Serious labor of love here. What a cool channel. Thank you. I'm just getting started on a Taylor. Played acoustic my whole life, and looking into learning classical.
Thank you for your time and for the wonderful comment! Wish you all the best on your journey to the classical world. Let me know if you need any advice on classical guitar as I have been teaching it for more than 12 years. There is a lot of information on the internet of course from all the greats, but if you need anything, like what kind of instrument is good too start with etc. you can find me here. Don't hesitate to ask. 🙏🙏
That's a million dollar question 🙂 There are so many things to consider and it also depends on the guitar, the mood, the player, the season, the purpose (concert or just study or recording) etc etc. There are many very good sets on the market. You don't have to marry one of them. I wish I had an easy answer. Does your guitar feel stiff, or lacks volume, or clarity, or bass? Or you want something more from it, as better articulation? What kind of music do you play with it?
@@craatenascollege1234 Thanks. Mine is not in such a good shape unfortunately. One of the mics, front and back, is recording in lower volume than the other, making it hard to balance left and right, so at some point I must replace it. If you mean these two sets it is very hard to say. EJ45 is a great overall set but the 427 is cheaper, lasts the same amount of time as the EJ45 and is easier to play too. EJ45 is a bit sweet, the 427 is brighter. I like both of these sets very much. At this time of my playing, maybe I like 427 a bit more.
