Gadolinium has low value of third ionisation enthalpy because of high exchange enthalpy. Why ?

Because it has f7 configuration... Any element with f7,f0,f14 config will have high exchange enthalpy and low IP

Wrong data....IE in the midst of 3d series ( Fe , Co , Ni ) is not constant but Fe>Co>Ni Also IE increases from Sc to Mn but IE of V>Ti

Mam You are wrong at the Sc , Y, La, and Ac .. As top to bottom size increases so I.P. decreases but next elements of this group Ti, Zr, Hf, Rf first decreases then increases due to lathanoid and actinoids contraction. Please correct that. Inbetween La and Hf lathnoids and Ac and Rf lathenoids interact... So Sc family does not show any interaction with I.P. Please correct the explanation otherwise it will creat great blunder to your students...thanks Regards Imran sir

Ma'am this whole videos gives wrong information. Read NCERT first. Lanthanide contraction is not observed in Group 3. Means From Y to La, bcz contraction takes place after La. AND there is not regular trend in ionization energy, see the data from NCERT.
