Wow, I actually liked the one on BM but with this one is just as good. That late 60s, early 70s funk energy that he was tapping into is definitely more evident.
A crispier mix down, clearer vocals, same percussion/bass and this would have been a classic. The version on BM is overdone with annoying fx and wrong drums.
@@asayudwhaddameant8346 Calm down buddy. When did I say that they were both mutually exclusive? Some things are so funky, the lyrics Don't Matter, the groove is the focal point of the song. James Brown made many concerts, which was unintelligible, lyrically. But it did not matter, the songs were still groovy.
