@@PhoenixRiseup577 Pretty sure comment was meant as a compliment. Basically they're old schoolish like the small ball from the old Oakland A's. Obviously Christian Walker and Gurriel can get runs in but they're pesky with good defense and a lot of speed so they'll be able to cheese runs via stolen bases (Corbin Carroll's gonna be a beast) along with scoring on errors. I'm all for it!

He was literally the first player i thought of when i saw players were getting out because of the pitch clock lmao imagine an at-bat with Nomar and Mark Buehrle with the pitch clock lol. The unstoppable force meets the immovable object hahaha

Even further back was Mike Hargrove. Started with Texas & then was with Cleveland. He was known as "The Human Rain Delay." Now if Gaylord Perry was pitching, just get ready to be there a while.

@@skybison_9 this team is ranked 30 now in homegrown talent what do you expect to go out and buy more starting pitching? You need a good starting rotation and the bullpen is even more terrible this year. Seth lugo should not start. This core has been around for at least 2 years no need to adjust besides cruz and soto.

@N F because I have eyes and if you watch Machado, he looks up at the clock and realizes he needs to call time. It's like a QB trying to call timeout before a delay of game but he realized it was too late

Idk the bullpen is average and still have no reliable closer. Plus if Madbum is still pitching its a guaranteed loss

If the batter is not ready by the 8 second mark , it's a strike , Machado waived for time it's an automatic strike, can't ask for time with a pitch clock going , now if the pitchers ask for time when the pitch clock expires or even before its a ball

I think there is still the possibility to ask for time once in an at bat!
