We were given a proper history lesson on the latest instalment of D&BTV, with The Prototypes taking us on a journey through jungle and drum & bass with Odyssey, featuring Skibadee, Eksman and Demolition Man performing live. Fabio schooled us with a history of Creative Source set and we were treated to a rare birth of hardcore jungle set from the one and only Blame. Infectious vibes in the studio from start to finish. @@JackYBrown2010 Skiba always said he was inspired by Hyper D and was always humble about it. Can't believe we've lost so many legends. All we have is their recordings and their memory which we cherish. I am eternally grateful to have worked with Skiba and to have witnessed him mash up the raves. Long Live Skibadee!!

Eskman and skibadee pure vibes and energy. The back and forth microphone baton exchange is on par. I can remember seeing Eskman on a pirate radio back in the day with herbsie. The jungle mceees the one that remained within the jungle could easily jump on thoses grime beats or garage. But they stayed and represented. Take me back the archives are legendary sets. Ever since discovering the channel, the old skool for me are always a go back to. Gotta give the ultimate respect to thoses DJs and emcee still flying the drum and flag.

I really can't understand why people hate on MCs so much. Especially when you've got Skibadee and Eksman two of the greatest ever. Always been a massive fan of D&BTV and I always got the impression the point was to bring you that big night experience to your front room. If you want a clean mix, check out the DNB60 or artist's own studio mixes.

MCs are a force multiplier, a good one makes the set exponentially better and a bad one exponentially worse. No one is better than eksman. No one. Skibba is good, but he does a lot of noise making... eks is an bars and Rhythm. Friction with eksman is the very pinnacle of drum and bass.

skibba was so special it was like he had a super power for being able to know EXACTLY what to do to enhance the vibe. a truly first class musician. any emcee can learn A LOT from listening to the way he works the crowd and rides the tracks. He may be gone but his musical legacy will live on!

I'll never forget, ultra after party 05, took me 10mins to finally find the small dnb room. After almost settling for FL breaks, I see another room, I enter, and it's FCKN SHY FX n SKIBBADEE I was in awe. Skibb is such a real dude . He was right on crowd dancing just like he is here, and even came back after to just dance when TEEBEE was spinning. Damn I need a party
