ddd needs new support cards that make it that you have other options if you get your negated or interpreted since it heavily relies on its normal summon to get contract
If you saw Josh's make a Circular video, a "D/D Savant Circular" would have solved pretty much EVERY issue the deck has to the point of Kepler and Coper being almost irrelevant. The mill for COST would have been a 2nd Coper/Tell, a free SS to enable Gryphon, then another "Dark Contract" search on top. Not a "1 card combo" but potential busted support. I still have hopes for a good "D/D Brownie" TCG/OCG release but the recent anime/manga imports were like rubbing salt in our wounds -i'm talking about you D/D/D/D Super-Dimensional Sovereign Emperor Zero Paradox-
Maybe consider the Synchro and XYZ Doom Kings. Synchro Doom King stops your opponent from targeting your monsters with card effects in general and the XYZ keeps your Pendulum Monsters from being destroyed by card effects. It also has another effects that doesn't come up as often but it still is a viable monster choice. Both of these monsters can be cheated out if you let your Gilgamesh get destroyed by your opponent.
A small note especially against R-acists. Always summon Kepler in MMZ 2/4 and never in the middle MMZ. You typically use the lvl4 bodies first because you will get them back by p-summon, but if they hit your Kepler there with "Contain!" it hurts A LOT. Gnomaterial ptsd i guess. Also surprised not to see Baronne on the list, while also maining both Rage/Cerb + Dog. Personally i would prefer the 2nd Ragnarok (which makes more aggressive plays) and also the 2nd High Genghis because the format has a lot of backrow interactions.
In the Mannadium replay, instead of sending Vice Typhon with King Tell, send necro slime and add HeadHunt with Gryphon, that way you save Typhon for the future and you have 1 extra very powerful interruption
I have a question for the entire D/D players out there. I've been seeing a lot of you play Nibiru? How da heck you out a nib token over 3000 atk? Also, why do you guys play imperm if most of the time during turn 1 your S/T zones were full?
Well for imperm the answer is that most of the time you have at least one space unused,other than that it's just too good to not use it,also going second is gold, for nibiru you use your trap if it was already set or Zeus ,it's not optimal,in fact I like to use at least one unicorn instead but Zeus work just fine in those cases,also not everyone's play nib
Since Gilgamesh got released. The wombo combo version is the Synchro variant that abused Lamia for Crystal Wing/Siegfried/38 that later evolved into Savage/Apollo/Siegfried/Crystal thanks to Halq.
It's straight shit,it's a going second card that not only is terrible but clears also your pend zone,so it doesn't let you play after himself basically,at that point a turbo Zeus is infinitely better
Utter trash. I tested his build 0-5. Bricked a lot. Against the competitive meta has 0 chance if u dont go second and have godly handtraps. And so if you go first you won''t have combo
