Maybe this is terrible of me as a reader but it honestly feels so good to see you chop both! Two things off the shelf that don't interest you. Feels the same sort of satisfying as decluttering. I shouldn't judge Mary Higgins Clark without reading her books, but we have a Bunch at the library, and I honestly don't trust authors with huge mystery or thriller series and I feel like the only people I see check her books out are older people who have read her other books and are just loyal to her. I also want to say she is part of a mother daughter duo who also writes books? But I'm not sure.

It does feel a lot like decluttering!!! That’s the perfect way to describe chopping books off my shelf😆 I get that! She read a bit like a meh/okay writer to me. Like I was staring at the book like this would probably be a solid 3 stars if I read it but would I want to ever read it again, probably not? I’ll give her one last try though since I have 1 more of hers but we will see!!🤷‍♀️
