Great story, and the dialogue is excellently just a notch above the ogre’s story, showing their slight elevation in intellect.

I believe that by the nature of being selfish and cruel, hill giants should technically evil - although I will say willingness to trade with the punies as opposed to just killing them definitely puts him on the fence of chaotic and neutral evil
