Currently playing a stars druid. Build-wise, i *love* the humble versatility. It's hard to properly quantify that versatility vs a wildfire or moon who will likely put our higher numbers. That fireball or lvl 2 bear is a flashy hammer, but not all problems are nails. This subclass brings a toolbox, which kicks into overdrive at lvl 10. Flavorwise, nobody suspects a GOO-patron in a druid...

I like your thinking. I happen to be in a game now where we have 2 really heavy hitting characters. So there are times in combat when I don’t even take offensive actions. It’s a team game sometimes you have to learn your self how to position your self in a different version of being strong. Using that utility dose open up a lot of doors that way.

I'll be playing a wood elf Stars Druid, this weekend for the 1st time. This subclass just screams versatility! I love the three Starry Forms, but wouldn't mind maybe 2 more based on other constellations. Maybe one for some type of divination ability and another that maybe buffs other party members in some way, but not in an overpowering way.

You have alot of opportunities with that. Stars were used by the first sailors. It makes sense perception being wisdom is very accessible.

@@TheSinisterheroes completely and utterly paranoid like there is irrational fear and then there is him I imagine he lived in a mountainous reson he often sees things he shouldn't or hears things he shouldn't (far realm crap he's also sleep deprived from starring at the stars waiting for what never may happen

Great video. It might be a good idea to start crediting the artists of the pictures you use, both for their sake and anyone interested in the art. I love the thumbnail for this video, but can't find the picture anywhere.

I do try and put there artist signature when I find one that has it. I met someone who did make the artwork and I offered to credit them on future stuff cus once the video is up I can’t re edit it I’d have to basically do so from scratch.

While theme-wise, it is harder for me to understand, Star Druid is quite cool subclass.

really? i guess it can be alittle complex of an idea, i just mainly think of the stars druid as someone who believes in astrology like religion, and stars for navigation, that usually balances it out for me.

@@TheSinisterheroes As far as theme for Druid subclasses go, it went for Nature (Wildfire:destruction and life within nature, Spore: decomposition happens in nature(or circle of life), Sheperd: help and ask help from animals (and fae) from nature), yet Circle of Star is not much to do with nature (or even with fae like Dream do) theme. If it was either Cleric for religion or Wizard for scholarship, it would be more justifiable in theme-wise. Cool mechanics, head scratching theme. I can see what your saying, but for me I can see the stars as making sense for a Druid. The lunar cycle affects the tide comets landing and changing their impact areas, just the way the stars impact how journeys are made and conducted
