"Do you breed them John?" "No not personally, they breed among themselves of course"😂😂 Was not a good time to have a drink, I spat it out all over my laptop lol RIP you bloody kiwi legend
When John mentioned climbing mountains i remembered his late father, a man who loved a bush walk and a climb over a hill. As did John, bless him. I had the pleasure of being with John in his real home, it was much grander and far more opulent than this one, 😊as one might expect from John and wife Helen , bless John, I miss him everyday. Thanks for posting .
Absolutely brilliant. They don't make them like JC anymore. Comic genius. Thanks for uploading this. 15 years ago. I'm just a bit slow, but I get there in the end! "-)
John Clarke was a master of droll humour. The cameraman missed a great opportunity for a sight gag; if only they'd only shown them from waist up as John walked beside them on the trampoline!
The theme from Brideshead in the background? Classic lines from John, was overwhelmed when I saw him in a bookshop in the city. Exchanged a few words, he was very pleasant.
Using my incredible Google Earth skills, I have deduced that this was filmed at 22 Coppin Grove, Hawthorn. And by incredible Google Earth skills, I mean scrolling along the Yarra until I saw a place with that distinctive circular path. You can see the arch with the wisteria(?), the single bluestone stair, even the trampoline looks like it's still there.
@@Johnny6666 Ha, yeah, I looked up that info too. I have to say, though, I strongly suspect that these days the actual value would be at least twice that, and maybe more like three times... possibly even four. It's a relatively huge amount of land with massive river frontage on what is genuinely one of the most expensive streets in the city.
