I made the shirt for my granddaughter who will be going a way to college soon and she absolutely loved it! She wants more! She could totally follow your video. I taught her how to sew years ago but lives far away from me. Making the shirt sparked a need to spend some time together sewing. I can’t wait. I subscribed to your channel and want to see if you have patterns with pockets. Also, the reason I chose your video is because you are so calm and easy to follow, it was so relaxing sewing with you. @CaroleChristian Thank you so much! I would start around "4 down from the top. To be safe, you could hold the skirt up to your waist and mark where you are comfortable inserting your hands as if pockets were there.
I'm planning on making some skirts with my daughters today , I wanna try starting in the middle, because sometimes I end up with a small hole at the bottom or it doesn't come out so good ,so maybe if I try your way it maybe better .
