It is not food safe . As we used white cement . If you make it out of ceramic clay it would be food safe .We did not use ceramic due to high cost of it and most people could not afford such materials.We make things that are practical to make .Thanks for supporting our channel 🥰

Лучше бы Вы сделали эту чашку с блюдцем из полимерной глины, намного интереснее бы было. Я давно приметила эту чашку и буду делать из полимерной глины. Из цемента грубо смотрится...

This is really cute. I think using air dry clay would give a better result. You could avoid the cracking and making it have thinner edges on the cup. I am not criticizing the art, just making a suggestion. If you decide to try the air dry clay, I'd love to see a video of it.
