Our Dark Gene GREEN model amp takes its inspiration from the venerable JCM800 and previous plexi topology with some tweaks and is featured here showcasing the effectiveness of the Sensitivity control bringing the midrange forward or scooping it back. Driving the amplifier is our Apical Boost pedal (Rangemaster) and R9 Les Paul. Recorded with Shure MV51 mic.

Phillip McKnight just demoed this. I once owned a ZVex mini tube amp, but yours sounds very, very much better (and uses normally available tubes)!

That is some awesome tone! My question to you sir.... when will the Dark Gene Green 12" combo be out? I'm sure it would surpass any combo amp Marshall makes. Love it, compact with minimal knobs.

Thank you! It is available as an export model. Hard wired for either 120/240vac 50/60Hz.

The DG+ prototype is already making some great tones and the tube buffered loop is turning out wonderfully! There are still a few things to work out but it is coming together nicely! Pricing won’t be bad either!

@@d.kowalskiamplifiers4622 Excellent! It is a feature well worth paying for versus squashing effects fed into the front end. Hopefully fitting one more 12a_7 isn't a tall order. Looking forward to the next gen of a wonderful concept product.

@@bradatherton9369 the DG+ will have the extra features and be a bit more of everything. Plan is to offer two options. One will even be a combo. 2w standalone or 12w combo.
