this router works great as a wireless transmitter but its wired portion is lousy. If you connect an ethernet cable to it , it would only partially allow internet use , only google services for some reason( could be that I am using the goggle dns) . Other website just don't work . You have to restart it everytime . and forget getting it to work with complex connections like vpns or ssll its random . its so weird it works sometimes and not other times. don't get this model . It needs a firmware update
When I bought this router, the connection is not consistent then I had it replaced since it is considered defective and then the 2nd replacement was also bad because it is intermittently disconnecting.
Firmware version 1.03 has bug. After ugraded, I can't log in my game(Bandori, imas) on android phone(oneplus6) due to connection timed out. So I have to downgraded to ver.1.02. And it force me to upgrade fw to ver. 1.03 if i want to config the router.
I bought this router but not able to find 802.11 ax mode in 2.4 ghz band. I am not sure if it's a software issue or if this router doesn't support wifi 6 in 2.4 ghz band. Can you throw some light on this.
@@mmj19833891 lucky you, I bought ax to get WPA3 encryption. Only to find out they are junks. Canada Computers don’t take any returns now. Fuck Canada computers. D-link AX1500 doesn’t support bridge mode. My old old ASUS router or T-Link router all support bridge mode, that is why I didn’t check before buying them.

What wifi 5ghz channel does this router support? Does it support channel 149? Asking because samsung phones only support 149+ channel on wifi 5ghz band.

@@DealUnboxing you showed it for 2.4ghz bandwidth, not 5ghz. Just checked your video 2nd time to be sure. It will be great if you can share the 5ghz channel info. I have faced this channel issue a lot with recent routers not supporting higher channels and samsung mobile only supporting 149+ channels.
