Nothing wrong with being a little obsessed with their music. I've never felt such an emotional/spiritual reaction to music like this, you really feel it in your soul sometimes. I finally got to see them live last week and I cried tears of joy a handful of times. It's fun watching people discover their music for the first time
"I will be watching for your enemies, To let them know that they contend with me" is such a beautiful line. Also, this song has yet another allusion to the concept of vorephelia. "I want to taste you better." Worship!
@@thiagomorrison1348 Sugar is a bit too repetitive on the chorus for me, I prefer the flow of Give better. And Give is pure sexy R&B all the way through while Sugar's breakdown changes the mood.
Nothing wrong with being obsessed. I was a 33 year old man when they first came out and I became obsessed. For me though, it was mainly the anonymity and the 'lore' behind the band that was intriguing, not to mention the just superior musicianship that they displayed.
The closing the eyes and vibing thing is, to me, the embodiment of the "Worship" that Sleep Token fans always refer to. Music that can move you to your soul is how you know its special and not like the rest.
Its so easy to become obsessed with their music. They make music that demands to be felt. Because thats what happens, you FEEL not only the lyrics but the music itself. Vessel has such a way with lyrics and composition of music. I'm still pinching myself and watching the videos i took of their concert on Monday. I can't believe I was there 😅. It was so good! Can't wait for more from y'all. Worship
Cant wait for you guys to get to "Bloodsport". The last song on the album. When you finally get to it i HIGHLY recommend you listen to the "from the room below" version before the original. I guarantee it'll break yall down.

This is a unique song to me. It sounds totally different from their other songs. They have amazing feels in their music, and the instrumental versions really show their musicianship. II is also an amazing drummer, he's talented in every range of drumming, from crazy rock to cool electronic drums. Such a gem of a band that I haven't put down in almost a year now.

You nailed it on the head....my #1 complaint with Sleep Token tracks is that they are always TOO short!!!! lol...ST just hits all the right spots emotionally, spiritually, etc. Damn this band for being superb!!!! Love your reactions!
@@earthscorcher Yeah I feel sorry for everyone across the pond right now! I've heard a lot of complaints about their opening set. The singer for Empire State Bastard was the singer of Biffy Clyro, so he's quite a big name in the UK and Empire State Bastard is a very different direction (and seemingly not a good one) for him. Would recommend checking out Biffy Clyro's music instead, it's a softer, country rock sound with clean vocals.
A Sleep Token song that I've been obsessing over lately has been "Is It Really You?". I haven't seen many reactions to it but it is truly phenomenal. I know many(all) of their songs are, but that one just hits different, for me. I highly recommend it. Its not on any album and instead is just a single they did with Loathe in 2022, but I'd love to see your reaction to it. EDIT: That song is 4:36 long, so close to 5 minutes ;)
Can anyone lmk if they are done making music, btw idk if u guys know but the bassist of sleep token a fan favorite if u watch their live performances, birth certificate was leaked by a crazed fan and they deleted everything on their instagram. In there bio it says, “nothing lasts forever” then put a link to their merch and tickets to their November show. I just want to know if they’re done making music or not speaking from the “nothing lasts forever” caption and the fact they deleted everything on their instagram. And if they are done it suck’s cuz they were about to enter a new era with their new masks. Please sleep token don’t leave us🙏🏼😭
I don’t think they’re done. They’ve had a VERY busy year with the release of TMBTE and touring, they need a little break & will be back at it I’m sure! I think Vessel put that in a way of saying “let’s cleanse & build new” as in, out with the old leading to “nothing lasts forever” & in with new. So maybe it’s time for new beginnings ahead! Stay positive 🤍
