When they would perform this song live, the bass player (III) would lie down on the stage and Vessel would straddle him while singing. And, uh. It definitely made you feel a certain kind of way 😳🥵 And for the record CUTTING SUGAR FROM THE SETLIST WAS A *MISTAKE* (mainly because I’ve never seen it performed in person, but just based on my feral screaming at their shows without it, I can’t imagine what I’d be doing if I saw this live 😂)

I just seen them live in Pittsburgh last night! Easily the best performance I’ve ever witnessed lol sound, and visually. Unforgettable. I’m going to see Lorna shore in September,so it’ll be interesting to see how their performance compares! Fair to say it’ll be just as incredible !

It's always awesome to see the gals fall head over heels for Vessel BEFORE ever even getting to Sugar. 😂 Wasn't crazy about this song at first, thought the ethereal beginning went on a bit long but the way it picks up later is just brilliant and now I dont mind the beginning. So much in fact I actually damn near blew out my vocal chords first time trying to sing this. Who knew extended falsetto singing is way harder than you'd think lol. I didn't even make it through the song and I couldn't speak for about 30 minutes after. 😂 Definitely recommend proper training. Another sweet reaction love what y'all are doing. So much in fact I became a member. 🤘 I have my request for you. A new band from Canada for you! Song is Green and Glass by Unleash The Archers. @@dna2001 Lol true story. I will no longer attempt Sugar. 😂 Glad you got a kick out of that! Yeah Vessel is another animal. I'm a drummer and of course singing is great but I've always admired and envied guitarists and pianists more than anything. Vessel and ST however have completely changed my perspective on singing and lyricism as well. Vessel puts so much into his singing it's like listening to a guitarist riff and wail across a fretboard, if that makes sense, all while painting such vivid pictures with his writing. A true privilege to be a witness to! Glad to share it with you guys too, thanks again for spreading the love!! 💜 One last thing I'd like to change my request if I may! We did haha! Yes Vessel is truly amazing and a one of a kind artist for sure, we can't get enough of Sleep Token at the moment!!! Oh and on the song request...It looks like you are on the JBG tier of the membership currently, but to get the 1 song request per month you have to be on the JBG+ tier. The first, with Metal Hammer at the time of their signing with Basick, frontman Vessel expanded on the lore of the band, stating that "We are here to serve Sleep and project His message." When asked about Sleep, he stated that "He is everywhere, at all times. Vessel encountered Sleep in a dream, with promise of glory and magnificence if Vessel followed Him." ... I thought his words are more than fan-made documentaries.
