This clip is old but adding this medical advice from a medical professional: NEVER tilt your head up when you have a nosebleed. You may think "oh, it stopped bleeding" if you tilt up but that's because it's going back into your nose and down your throat. Even if you can't see the blood, it's still bleeding. You have a possibility to inhale or swallow a lot of blood, which can either make you choke or irritate the lining of your stomach. Humans aren't meant to swallow blood and it can make you vomit, making your nosebleed worse as well as damaging your throat. Please tilt your head down, clean the area gently, and apply pressure if it's a bad nosebleed. Putting tissue in the nose to soak up the blood and assist clotting is also a good idea as long as you don't push the tissue too far into the nose. If the nosebleed doesn't stop over an extended period of time, please seek medical help at a nearby clinic, emergency room, or call your local emergency services.
