The most golden wonderful era for music, one of a superb back catalogue of legendary D Train tracks. Production, lyrics, grooves unmatched to this day! Definitely a huge favourite

James D Train Williams was the man. The trademark crisp keyboards and the insane bassline. Rocking to this in August, 2023. Rest in peace, Hubert Eaves III.
I’ve been rocking this for 30yrs and it never gets old! My kids came out their womb bumping this and I’m sure their kids will do the same! Straight classic!!!!!
Melissa Davis I remember when I first heard it and went and got the LP and couldn't wait to play it at the club I was DJ'n at. it was a banger at the time for me. but when I was ready to pull asses out of their seats to the dance floor this was one of my go to party starter's.
Styles Pretty Work Detailing & Spa Hinton Yes Lord!!!! I still step whenever I hear this song, they just don't make music like this anymore, the lyrics now are stuck in the hooks. Music used to be about the MUSIC, musicians and they strived for CLASSICS.... I miss the music.
Melissa Davis so do I being a DJ at the time that this style of music was on the rise I'm so glad I was a part of it. I can't count how many times I was asked who is that, play it again and would tell them I can't I only have 1 copy. and they would throw 10 bucks up on my mixing board so I guess you know he heard that again. lol
WBLS !!! NEW YORK CITY. FRANKIE CROCKER, BABY. R.I.P. BROTHER AND THANKS FOR HELPING TO SOLIDATE THE SOUND OF THE 80's...... WOW, WHAT A DECADE !!!!! IF YOU WASN'T BORN WHEN MUSIC LIKE THIS WAS BLASTING THE RADIO ..... BABY YOU MISSED A GREAT PARTY. BECAUSE TODAY'S MUSIC .... SUCKS !!!!

This beat has everything you'd want on a track. You chill to it, you can dance, good melody, and just enough bass.im surprised more rappers and producers haven't used this that much. D-Train was smooth as shit on this
Like Glenn Jones, James "D-Train" Williams is underrated. That voice GODDAMN!! Hear how he hit yhat high note at the end? Daaaaaayyyyuuuuummm!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯
SHO NUFF A MAJOR CLASSIC, I'M 62 BUT THE 70'S & 80'S HAD SOME GREAT MUSIC. I'M FROM NEW JERSEY, AND WBLS WOULD MIX THE HELL OUT OF THIS JAM. SMOOTH GROOVE CLASSIC /OLD SKOOL FOREVER 💖💣🌷👀💃🍸🌟😎
Wow man this song is the bomb. Remember we used to talk like that. I miss the 80s. Still loving this song tho in2019. And it still sounds good. Old school the best school. Peace
I hear you youngin! Perhaps your parents listened to 80's music, when you were a child, which are now classics, such as this one, thereby giving you a good ear for great music!
Not true. Some people were saying that in the 80's aswell. Just take the time to find good contemporary artists and you'll see that there so many of them.
Its2020 and I love love love dtrain so much I listen to him he’s my favorite artist of all times I want to see him in concert if he still performs🎤🎼❣️🖤🧡💚💙❤️💜❣️😍😎
1wharfboy THE SUMMER OF 85 I REMEMBER IT WELL SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES LIFE WAS EASY AND FUN AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY LOVED EACH OTHER NUTHN BUT GOOD TIMES THIS ERA MAKES ME SO SAD 😂😂😂😂
How could you let someone else in your heart? You were suppose to love me , only me!! Why couldnt you just let your heart lead you. You let someone else take my place. My love for you can only wish you the best. I want you happy and loved. You are. That's what matters.
Who ELSE feel like doing a "body slide" to the 1980's? I loved D-Train's music growing up in Brooklyn back in the 80's. Funny thing is, I NEVER took a ride on the D train till I became a messenger in high school and then when my wife and I moved to The Polo Grounds projects up in Harlem. The D train takes you RIGHT to the entrance of those projects.😂 Peace to everyone up on 155th, and 8th Avenue, peace to D Train.✌
