Nice review ! It sounds different from my Falken and my Starplayer Special ....honestly, I would have liked to have 3 Split King pick ups, in order to have something even more versatile ... Would I buy it ? I don't know, I already have those 2 above and this one does not bring something much more versatile or different than what I already have ..... and it does not come THAT cheap....
@@kristi9236 the Falken is great sounding guitar, the electronics and pick up configuration make it one of the most versatile guitar available today. The maple neck and alder body make it very similar to a strat, the difference is the glued neck, offering more sustain. It could have been GREAT if Duesenverg had choosen different options in the design : those choices makes the Falken the less comfortable guitar I have in my collection. It is heavy, poorly balanced (huge neck dive problem) and since it has no belly cut and arm rest on the top, it is sometimes painful to play it sit for a long time... I hope it helps !
I can't say, because I've never played a Gibson with P90. Compared to my Larrivee RS 2 (p90 pu), the Duesenberg P90 neck pu sounds a bit more powerful and less transparent. Here is the link to my Larrivee Rs video. Both guitars were recorded with the same amplifier. Larrivee clean sound P90 Neck Pu (1:02) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3ubf6zu8Ml4.html
