Let's start by saying the Princess & the Frog is a great movie. The story line & music, AWESOME!! In regard to Splash Mountain (some of you may be too young to know) that the animated characters along the ride came from the closed attraction "America Sings", Also previously Disney's Carousel of Progress. I look forward to seeing the transformation from Splash Mountain to Tiana's Bayou Adventure this summer. Disney is changing so much with all of the new attractions. I hope a lot of you were able to see what they were before they changed. The many adventures of Winnie the Pooh used to be Bear Country Jamboree. Some attractions remain the same with a little upgrading to add a few new things Like the Matterhorn, Autopia and the submarine ride (renamed years back) to Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Disney is rapidly growing and updating attractions will continue for the better enjoyment of us all. It has to keep progressing. For those who want a little bit of that original nostalgia back there's always RU-vid videos of your favorite original attractions. 😍❤💛💚

@@DragonHeart613 I wish, at Disneyland, CA, they'd just scrap the whole, dumb project and restore Splash Mountain. Tiana's Bayou Adventure should be its own, original attraction with a much better story. This story is too small for such a big stage and it's also the wrong setting. I don't know whoever got the insane idea to demo a thriving, beloved, E-ticket attraction and try to fit an ill-thought replacement into a specialty show building that was never intended for it. Even the facade was higher and more iconic before. People are already calling it Broccoli Mountain. It's like Tower of Terror in DCA. Instead of plussing the existing attraction to spice-up the story, they turned it into an eyesore that left the park without a haunted house/hotel. Why couldn't Disney just build an original Guardians attraction elsewhere, instead of ruining the eyeline from everywhere in DCA? It's especially ugly in sunlight from the Ferris wheel and just destroys the view looking above Buena Vista street. It looks like it belongs in Tijuana.

@@brodytamanini2713 the only upgrade it has is the animatronics when they work, aside from that this ride works alot worse than splash, the animatronics breakdown more, and there is no actual music aside from dig alittle deeper and that ending song, and the quantity is more noticeable, when one animatronics is down the ride gets alot worse with how many less animatronics it has.

@@bewarebewear1507 well sometimes the ride goes down because it runs on sensors. Also, what are you talking about? The splash animal electronics would never work and they were static. They are not even that good of figures. Even the better ones like bare bear would only really move his head and slightly his hands, maybe. Also, you clearly haven’t been on the right because there’s more songs than that. The whole ride is songs. Are you actually dumb is the greatest of all time but it’s simple but it’s effective but splash Mountain doesn’t even have that much of a great story either. No one really ever went on splash Mountain for the story and everyone can admit that it was fine, but it wasn’t amazing but the scenery on Tatiana‘s Bayou adventure is much better than splash mountain which is the main reason why most people went on it. It also just makes more sense in frontierland if you actually do your research as someone who’s into the genre.

@@Coleipo so you haven’t been on it so you can’t voice your opinion on it. Also splash’s story is ok, Tiana’s is you collecting critters for the party. And no one goes on splash Mountain for the story. You could barely even tell what was going on especially for people not very familiar with the ride. Most people just went on it for the cool scenes and Tiana scenes are much more beautiful with luscious scenery. Also, if you actually were at the parks a lot splash Mountain was consistently closed a lot and Tatiana sometimes breaks down because it runs on sensors for the beginning and it’s much more complicated.

Like the mighty phoenix, something beautiful has come out of the ashes in the place of Splash Mountain. Now, don’t be misconstrued, I am a devoted Disney purest to the tee and will always be devoted to Splash Mountain but change has to come in order for the company to, in Walt’s words, “keep moving forward”

Walt’s attitude was to keep improving the parks The new attraction is all CGI screens and empty spaces with no antagonist or tension, they could’ve done better

I love the movie and adore these performers. But, no matter how Disney spins it, the ride is a terrible disappointment. It does not top nor even measure up to the caliber of Splash Mountain. It actually makes me angry that such ineptitude has ruined what was once the pinnacle of outdoor attraction artistry. After seeing this, I fear for Disneyland's Haunted Mansion, currently under refurbishment. The last thing Californians want in Walt's original masterpiece are CGI and video screens. We love our Hitchhiking and Follow-You-Home Ghosts just the way they are. Please, leave them alone.

Well said! I worry too how bad the avengers e ticket is going to turn out to be. Because that’s the next ride we are getting here at California adventure. Sadly the rest of avengers campus sucks
