D3FY D3S Efficiency Test - Yourpbfriend

This is the efficiency test for the new D3FY D3S. Our goal was to match the conditions that most walk on players with this level of gun would have. Test was performed with the stock barrel, shooting 275FPS, 68 tank with 2800PSI and Basic field grade paint. 5 1/2 pods was very impressive and more then enough for the average walk on player.
This marker retails at $299.95 and has alot of bang for the buck. Two piece barrel, clamping feedneck, On/Off asa, and light ergonomic design.
I played with this gun for the day and found it to be very nice. It had a great feel, worked with no issues and was alot of fun to use.

Question when cleaning the bolt.. does it affect the allen wrench behind the knob? if you know what i mean lol

@@Givvs I just bought this gun, and I played speedball on sunday and it shot great all day long with my Halo Too loader (no issues really, it chopped paint perhaps twice). The tadao board is great for ramping too.

Both this and the mini are great markers. I believe this one stands out because it feels much better in the hands, field stripable and have some cool featurs like an on off asa, two piece barrel and clamping feedneck. I will have the D3S up for sale at www.yourpbfriend.com this evening

@andy stanley Yes, this would be a great gun to start off with at the price tag. But if you're looking to play more then a couple times a month, I'd recommend investing more into a marker.

Juan Melin I'd go with this. Honestly I am about to buy this to replace my Valken Proton. I've used this gun before at my field. And it works like a beauty. A very nice marker for the price. However if you a little bit more money I'd go for a Proto Rail MaXXed or Mini.

On my paintball team from experience and witnesses this gun has a lot of problems the board breaks screws fly out from vibration and cuts paintballs and breaks the paint balls easily I would not waste my money on this gun and would spend the extra 60 bucks and buy the mini

Had a really important question, I've been playing paintball for about a year now, I started off with the tippmann gryphon, then went to a dangerous power e1, now im looking for a new marker, I can't decide between the D3FY D3S or the PMR11, really need some help, also i need help with a tank choice, I found a crossfire 45/4500 let me know how that is, thank you

John Morale This gun is really good. Dangerous Power G5 is still best bang for your buck and I'd say this just behind it for less $. Do it man, it's awesome

UA31402 I would recommend an electric hopper and a HPA tank. I wouldn't recommend CO2. But since this marker is capable of shooting over 10 BPS, you will want a hopper to keep up.

UA31402 It would depend on your budget, tanks can go between $50 to $230 while hoppers can go between $80 - $300. So if you want to go on the cheaper side, get a 48ci Aluminum tank and a Halo or Scion hopper.

How did you walk the trigger, I am having trouble walking the trigger on the gun I have now, which is a BT4-ERC. But is it good for walking the trigger? Thanks.

+TheCraftingMaster try seeing if their is a trigger sensitivity adjustment, if there is, make your trigger a little easier to pull. that should help
