This gun is a sleeper! Fungunsbuff aka Nick just hooked mine up with a Juit mod and a aftermarket bolt. This lowered the pressure and made it shoot even better ✊
I've had the displeasure of working on this gun and trying to sell one new. Pros -150 bucks and tourny ready Cons -Pain in the ass to take apart -Problems with operatin pressure that can brick it if you don't know how to fix it -Cheap price means cheap screws with bad tolerances, easy to strip. -Un reliable and takes knowledge to fix -Mini GS is only slightly more expensive.

Thats fair, but I would argue much of what you said could be applied to a Mini GS / GI Sportz. - Both are a pain to take apart - If you have a poor sealing reg seat you're shooting over 200 psi you're going to have problems - Relay ASA isn't friendly to inexperienced users and requires special tools - I have found worst screws on the Syx - Every marker takes knowledge to fix - Apples to Apples, new to new. 100 to 150 is not exactly slightly. Honestly, the GS is a tank, no doubt, but the D3s is still a much more simpler marker and is easy to diagnose. Getting parts for it is potentially a different story though.
When you say not to over pressure the marker how do I prevent that? Is it something that would happen with my just adjusting it to chrono around 290 with a regular ninja tank?
From the factory the reg adjuster is further in. Probably closer to 350 fps plus. It would be so over pressurized the marker will leak before you could get a shot off at the chrono. When I got the marker I backed out the adjuster as far as it could go (counter-clockwise) and slowly turned it in until air got to the solenoid. Then after that point you can start adjusting it like normal. As long as you take a few shots between 1/8 to 1/4 turn adjustments to balance out the regulator you should safely reach 290 without problems.

Hey there! Any electronic hopper will do. Just depends what you would like to spend. The empire Halo too, Z2, pinokio speed are all good options and affordable. I do recommend 68ci 4500 psi tanks, but they are typically $130 for a basic one. ANS does have a First Strike basic for $100, on a flash sale now. If money is tighter just pick up a 48 ci 3000 psi tank. Just don't expect to get a lot of paint out of a single fill. If you do go that route you can usually find a bundle with a Halo too and a 48/3000 tank. I see ANS has a bundle for 85 dollars. Will get you playing!
Hi, there was an issue from the factory where the markers were set at a very high pressure. A player upon receiving the marker would air up the gun and blow a oring off the spool, causing major leaking problems. That is the primary issue that I have seen with the marker, because of this the marker had a rather poor reputation for leaking from factory. There have been multiple days where I have shot this over my high ends. I have really enjoyed this marker.
It would all depend on what I'm planning on playing. If you're the casual player that is only planning on playing rec ball / woods the emek is a no brainer. That being said, many people will tell you you need this in your arsenal regardless of what you play. I agree with that too. If you need speed, well the D3s would be it
I actually don't own it anymore. It belongs to a subscriber though. With an exception of one of the seals getting displaced some time during shipping, the D3s has been treating him very well. Imo it's still a very good marker for the money
@@ericmason2917 hello, I am the subscriber who has it, it works great I have had no problems with it as opposed to my friends who have bought mini Gs’s. With a electronic loader and a 68/4500 tank you have a very nice pretty inexpensive setup.
I like it a lot. Its a nice shooter, very smooth, and easy to work on. I have chosen to play with this over my high end markers on multiple occasions and have never felt like I was lacking
