I'd like to see Rory go over what kinds of tools he has on his bench and potential use cases for those tools.

That oring was inside because the original blew off because the owner wasn't aware of the excessive regulator pressure being the problem. So he/she then took the spool apart and saw an oring was missing. Replaced the missing oring but didn't consider there used to be one on there before. He/she probably thought it was missing from the factory the re-assembled the gun. The result was that the original oring was still stuck inside. Once the gun was put together the regulator pressure was still too high and blew off the second oring. :)

I've heard from many sources that the problem of over-pressurization is actually coming from the factory settings. Something about the output pressure at the factory being really low, so that the reg adjuster is set really high & is not reset before being sold. So, when a customer put on a regular pressure tank (850 psi), the O-ring in the spool blows out! It has been suggested that customers back out the regulator a few turns before gassing up the marker for the first time.

Been sitting on this d3s for a year and couldnt get it diagnosed. Thank you rory! You're the man! Quick question...if those small screws are stripped (like u said is common) on the solenoid and I have to dremel them out; where do I get new replacement screws?

At about 31:20 you remove a part, maybe a solenoid, with two wires and a connector, I am having difficulty putting that piece back on the barrel. Any tips to put these pieces back together?

Hey I know this video is old but my d3s has problems shooting, so let’s say I shoot it 5 times it would only shoot out 2 bullets any ideas what it could be so I could fix it?

I have a leak but it sounds very small and my gun still shoots good with it what do I do?

This is exactly why i bought my viking cs2 from ans gear. Because if it takes this tech god an hour to diagnose and fix. I would never be able to. Alllll those screws nuts and parts and the thing wasnt even apart yet. Good grief. Thank god for jack wood and PE.
