I was thinking for a very long time when you will be posting about D5 Render, been using it for a year now, the results are just amazing with this real-time engine . And especially with RTX cards, the results are just next level.
@@ShowItBetter Oh yes, it didn't get much limelight like Lumion or Twinmotion and I believe there are definitely areas of improvement in the software but to be honest, like you mentioned if you are looking for a quick Interior render definitely this software is good to go. And these guys are going to be a heavy competitor for Enscape :P
hey steven, great video... very helpful... and the way you divided the video so that we can come back and find easily what we want if we have any doubt or anything. such small details make this video very helpful. Great work and good narrative... keep it coming!
Really nice review!! I was a Lumion user and now switch to D5 since D5 1.7.1, after several months’ testing on the community free edition. I should say it’s a really amazing program, the quality, the speed, the price, the development, and the way they communicate and listen to users, and of course very easy to use. You’ll definitely feel the charm and WOW on RTX cards! See what REAL-TIME is
you explain the lessons in a simple and understandable manner . we are waiting for you to do new courses for D5 2.0 if you can .let me know please thank you .
Request to lower the graphic card requirements of the program and can be used with GTX 1650 d5render.featureupvote.com/suggestions/194171/compatibilidad-con-tarjea-grafica-gtx-1650-ya-que-es-la-mas-usada-por-estudiante
after watching this, its time to switch to D5. thanks for very informative and helpful video, your explanation is very clear and simple. thumbs -up to you and subscribed!
Hi, I'm Numan Gursoy. I am a student of cartoon and animation department. I'm making a 3D animated short movie with Blender for my school project. Since rendering with Blender Cycles is very difficult, I've been looking for real-time rendering programs like D5 rendering. I would like to ask you a few questions about D5. First, can I transfer my animated character and cameras from Blender to the D5 render program? If I can transfer it, can I also adjust my character's texture and adjustments such as subsurface scattering? I will be very happy if you answer.
Hey great video, the problem I had with the version 1.7 was while adding material the textures gets misplaced, ie if I applied that wood texture it would be applied may be in the ceiling and for a few furniture's, this was a great buy, but the rendering is somewhat equal to the output by lumion, but the exterior is best in Lumion.
Thanks! I just tried it from the 1.9 version, but am not really aware of the past problems. What is crazy though is that only in its second version it’s able to achieve the results from Lumion that is in its eleventh version
@@ShowItBetter yeah it's so underrated, I am an architecture student and I am sharing this app to everyone as possible, because it should get proper appreciation.
Hey, Gorgeous!! Great! i think Enscape is the best at the moment because of its greate cost performance, but D5 Render will make good competition among real-time rendering softwares.
Nice program i like the idea of making industries compete so that they focus on making better changes on there own softwares. Still i believe lumion does everything that you mentioned better especially reflections and for those that want guaranteed results and popularity for a job, vray is the clear winner. Nevertheless steve bro nice overall video, nice editing with chapters and really pleasant explanations! PS. Sadly there is no 2070 gtx super available in a reasonable price nowaydays due to popularity of mining cryptocurrency...
Thanks! Of course I do agree Lumion has a lot of points in favor, but if we compare the prices between them and the final results it is pretty impressive. Even the paid version of D5 is around 3 times (or more I don’t know) cheaper than Lumion
Hey there, thanks for watching the video! The price of graphics cards has been skyrocketing lately, and it's really a bummer for those of us who need them for our work or hobbies. One reason for the high prices is the current global shortage of computer chips, which has been impacting the production of all kinds of tech products. Another reason is the high demand for graphics cards from cryptocurrency miners, who are willing to pay top dollar to get their hands on them. It's definitely frustrating, but hopefully the situation will improve soon. Thanks again for tuning in!
@@MehulSathyanarayan I see, I do feel most of my rendering directly from Lumion has a similar "fake" feeling to them. Maybe I'll give it a try with D5. Thanks for explaining
I’ve been using Twinmotion for the past two years now, and I’ve been interested in trying other rendering software. I’ve never heard of D5 before seeing this video and it looks great! Also, how long did it take to render?
I'm looking for a rendertool that can handle both simple product rendering and some outdoor assembly-garden style architecture rendering. D5 seems to perfect for this, especially with the asset library. Only problem is that my employer has provided me with Inventor as a modelling tool. Is there any way to export a file that is supported by D5 that wouldn't ruin my workflow? Is going through blender a workaround? Many thanks!
Tenho uma pergunta: Mesmo ele sendo gratuito comunitário, não precisamos de widgets avançados? Dá para fazer de boa tudo nele? Eu gostei muito dele, bem intuitivo.
To be able to add furniture and accessories, do you have to have the Pro Version? I downloaded the free version and I can’t even change the materials. Are you using paid version in this tutorial?
I can open a/convert my Sketchup file but all I see is blue. Nothing else. Just a blue sky. I would be very greatful If somebody could explain what I'm doing wrong? I have Enscape but want to try D5 out.
there still will be the free version, the D5 team will adjust the price of pro version, maybe the price or the way to subscrib.so accoding to the trend,if you wanna get the pro version you shoud purchase before they change the price
hi, what I find is that if I do a SketchUp model house when I bring it into d5 and try to add materials to models it seems to change the whole wall can you tell me what is im doing wrong? I even tried to make things groups and components but still happens sometimes then i had limited succes by adding textures to my models and making new faces on objects but still get other objects that i didnt want painted painted the same as wall tiles inside d5 render thank you.
