Forgot to mentio Thomson broke his starbord foil. Finishing hours sfter the winner was monstrous. If this year's boat holds out, Alex has a real chance of trouncing the 74 day record, and winning the VG in style. He most certainly deserves it. GO ALEX!!!

Last year I attempted my sailing dinghy to go to the next bay about 4-5 miles from our usual sailing beach. I capsized and broke the right fin, also the floater begun leaking water. So I gathered the pieces and returned base. I can't even sail to the next beach and those guys sail around oceans, darn!

If Alex hadn't broken his foil he would've destroyed everyone

before this one armel the jackal finished only 3hrs behind gabart, i followed the whole 2.5months he never gave up, but gabart didn't either, 4yrs after armel smashed the record of 78days by 4days finishing in an inhumane pace at 74 hrs.
