thanks for the kind words! ^^ i defo like to put more chill and softer sections in my works, especially as of recent, with this track being a more blatant example of it. i think if done right, softer sections can add a lot to the composition when it comes to hardcore. the way the soft parts contrast the hard parts helps em to feel even harder in comparison to me, as opposed to monotone and consistent hardcore throughout the entire track. this track was supposed to have a sort of progressing story within the composition itself, so i felt it was more important to make the soft part of this one very prominent. the goal was to make the track feel akin to death and salvation in a sense, since its themed around divine characters. at the beginning its more of a darker, depressing, and harder hitting track. then the soft section comes in gradually transitions it to something more uplifting and optimistic by the end.
