The Democratic Alliance is confident it's going to have a good election outcome. Party leader, John Steenhuisen, says unlike other parties, the DA is able to draw votes from all races. Full interview here: www.enca.com/t...
@elizemeissenheimer8345 Thanks. Only party who is truly trying to improve the lives of many South Africans, proven track record. Look at Gauteng and Easter Cape, infrastructure etc. A disaster
If you satisfied with reverse racism, open borders for foreigners to come and steal our jobs , bring drugs into our country and sell to our children, commit crimes such as child trafficking, car theft , counterfeit goods such as cigarettes coming into South Africa, which effect the jobs of our own citizens and reduce the revenue on the fiscus like taxes .....then vote EFF ... We will have another Zimbabwe...
The largest share of their party is black and colored. 75% of WC's budget goes to poor communities. This myth that this party is white focused is baseless.
I think Maimane is an amazing politician and person but he was removed as the leader of the party because he didn't grow their support base- simple as that! He was judged on his performance and not because of the colour of his skin- as we all should be!
@@dallorto194 he had to implement the changes he envisioned in order to attract the constituency able to vault DA to power first and yes that meant alienating the minority racist far right support base.
@shafiyaalgiquadra1105 I would be ignorant to say that the DA doesn't have any racist supporters, but as a party, I don't believe they are racist themselves. They are the most multi-racial party in South Africa and they are trying to promote growth across all race groups together, not just the majority or minority! Musi Maimane himself recently said that a successful ruling party needs to be a party of contradiction - a party that grows the wealth for all classes, not just the rich or the poor, because he fully understands how economics work. I highly doubt this is a new train of thought for him so I don't think you're correct when you started that alienating the racist minority was the reason for his removal. During this election campaign the DA have clearly stated that they will not compromise their values just to gain power! That translates into the DA not willing to alienate the minority or the majority just to win power- but to help grow everyone together so that our country as a whole prospers.
@@dallorto194 the DA has already alienated the majority this is why they have the minority vote on lockdown but can only secure a tiny portion of people who would have been apartheid apologists during apartheid anyway. Promoting growth for all begins with those who were prevented from any participation at all instead of trying harder to remove race as a proxy as a way to absolve apartheid beneificiaries of guilt.
DA are complicit. How did they as the official opposition allow S.A. to get to this level?? DA also support hamas as well. Sponsered R400k for the hamas palestinian soccer team to play in Cape Town. You have been lied to by steenhuizen and his DA
@@ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub very reductionist. Equating the loss of far right racist elements who admittedly comprise at current the majority of the DA base with the potential gains of the proposed changes that had yet to go through is not only disingenuous but fairly simplistic.
@@shafiyaalgiquadra1105 No matter how you choose to spin it , the facts are there. DA lost support under Maimane and have gained support under Steenhuizen .
@@ProcaviaCapensis-ts8ub the "facts" are that the DA wish to rule SA and they can never get there without the constituency promised by Mr. Maimane even if he in turn caused the loss of the current racist support base. A tad complex but I trust you shall be able to keep up...
@@shafiyaalgiquadra1105 The fact is that 2 out of 3 DA supporters are not white. Are you saying that they are all racist , including all the white people too ? You're so hung up on race that you can't see the wood for the trees.
