Time Dilation is a thing in this universe. Gravity affects the passage of time and approaching the speed of light does it even more. 2 years of time could of pasted on that planet, where as barely anytime could of passed for the predators. To say the least to explain the phenomenon.. If you went to a star 99 light years away on a ship moving at 99% the speed of light. About 2 years would pass for you, while 99 years would pass on Earth. So less than a month could of passed for the Predators on ship, while 2 years were passing on that planet. Predators are used to being left on planets for long extended periods, because of this. Hell Predators living for over a thousand years anyways... So 2 years is nothing. Rescue missions involving space are a bitch.. ain't they xD This is also why Ripley was throw 100 years into the future during her cold sleep and barely aged at all in Aliens.

If a predator does not come back from a hunt it is assumed they died

considering his duty comes from a culture that takes no consideration in mind for other sentients...and repeatedly showed a habit to get insulted when having ther treatment of other cultures returned in favor.. ..bugger me I can respect the dudes motivations to do it...but not his reasons. gota say though...it would be sort of rad to have a 'side track' flick of this alien/predator universe ...with a predator blooding bumbling onto a decent sized samurai colony ..that basicly knows ther tech is inferior ,and compensates properly for it! XD..and then when the predators at last lands despite the underhanded out of necessity orbital defense forcing them to do ground war if wanting to assult the Samurie citys and Citadels.. they are meet by Samurai war lords and massive honor guard behind a shogun sitting on a throne made of several alien queens basicly taping a fot pointing at the throne and then a pile of civilians skulls or other such simple pictogram comunication of ''YOU DID NOT LEAVE ANY -PLANET RESSERVED!- SIGN! ..THEN YOU SENT THIS HERE WITHOUT CHEEKING IF IT WOULD BE WARRIOR ACOLYTES ONLY THAT FACED IT ...OR THE FIELD TENDERS AND HEALERS!...SHALL WE TAKE YOUR SHIP AS OUERS AND RETURN THE GESTURE TO ONE OF YOUR PLANETS ?''

These tell her whole story. You´ll also get all tie-ins if you go for these 4 and then some.

I'm not a comic book fan or Predator fan, but if one series was to win me over, this would be it.

This was also novelised. Alien Vs Predator: Prey. And this story was ripped off badly by the first AVP movie.

This was what AVP movie we get based on, I hope it was better...

Hiring a Japanese actress instead would make the script, directing, producing, camera work, plot, and every other thing invloved in film making, so much more competent. That awful film was clearly terrible because of the non-Japanese actress. Obviously.

Yes Hunter’s Planet is definitely worth sharing and I’m still mulling over how to include it in these videos. Might be something to circle back to further down the line after covering War and Three World War instead of before. But not 100% sure yet.

sorry to necro-post but Same While I had a passing knowledge on the Alien (not normally a horror fan) and AVP setting I wasn't too familiar but this story was incredible and I am happy I listened to it

It’s kinda dumb that some random rancher lady suddenly becomes a nearly unstoppable warrior with enough prowess to impress a Yautja, but it certainly makes for a fun and interesting story.
