Id like to point out that this company used to bootleg a lot of bandai model kits, until bandai went after them. Youll notice thier logo is a knock off bandai logo.
@@TheShadowKarl Thanks much. How is yours holding the gun? I love the way MakeToys did it with Striker Manus with the rail system. The slit peg doesn't do it for me.
@@BensKOllectables generation toys made great toys put in creativity with modernized looks. Their best work done was the gravity builder, wish they would make die cast oversized version of each constructicon as big as Wei Jiang Optimus. Its rival toyworld already moved up level to compete against weijiang and BMB. Can't wait for you to review the new bumblebee movie optimus and last knight optimus
I'm 50/50 on it. On the one hand, Generation Toy put all of the work and effort in. On the other hand, it's all IP theft and they're getting what they give. Guess it's par for the course. *shrugs*
@@Autobot032 you should know that competition makes things better. That's why KO masterpiece are getting better and better first by copying then renovation. First it was Weijiang then came BMB and now Toyworld is trying to seize the throne. Hope Generation toys would upscale and up level too to get into the league.
@@jayjay53313 I do know competition is better, but this is out right theft. That's what's being discussed. That said, I think a lot of these companies need to step up, price accordingly, and turn heads. Instead of "lookit what we made!" it needs to be "look, here's what we did, this is what it's priced at." and we walk away happy with empty wallets. A good example? Open & Play Springer. Well made, good plastic, smooth transformation, priced really well. We need more of that.
I got my one shortly after your first look video. I really like this guy. Never had the GT one. Still have to transform him but he does seem straight forward enough
So glad I bought the original around the time it came out and the place I buy from had it for a crazy low sales price. I've made several custom heads for it but wish one of these companies would release a head pack for it(obviously would never happen). Figure looks amazing with the resized gcreation,mp10, bumblebee movie prime and the head from the idw upgrade kit for combiner wars prime. Would love all or even some of those heads with LEDs from any of these ko companies.
I hope you are right about GT selling rights to bootleg their stuff, I really like GT and I would hate to see them go out of business due to KOs. Though I do have both the GT devastator and eventually the KBB KO because I like that scale for it better.
You should seriously market your videos as ASMR Ben, your sub count would triple. I feel very relaxed and sleepy after one of your videos, thats not a criticism of the content!
@@BensKOllectables Daban gundam are a little on the hard side in there peg are so many and you will know what to cut that you don't need and some need's cleaning of extra plastic other than that there solid and cheap and now there entering the transformer business ill but more of there product's.
My feet seemed way sturdier than reviews for the GT version. Also the doors pegged in better than the reviews said. When I mess with the arms they're not coming unpegged like the GTs version seemed to do a lot in reviews. I missed out on the GT version and I am so happy I got this 1:1 copy.
you do realize that you're not describing which one is which when you say it's "next to the whatever version", right? you might be able to tell but we can't tell dude I have no idea what you're talking about I'm so confused
Price differences aren't THAT dramatic. I can buy Generation Toy OP Ex for jaat about US$100 from any of a dozen reliable retailer. The Daban version is selling for around $US60. The Daban version looks like it's better than 60% of the quality of the GT version, but IMO the GT version is already very fairly priced.
