Imagine if Deku quirk is his parents and has ice power to and it activates when Bakugo dies

dabi is my favorite villian of all time. mainly because of how much sense his story makes. he deserves to succeed as a villian. doesn't make him a good guy but a guy you can understand and even lean toward siding with for how bad things were for him and his family. he should 100% die killing endeavor and scar his mom permanently or perhaps kill both. i only wish shoto has a chance to finally sooth his broken soul before he goes.

​@@Dr.Ham_longswordnah. Even with all his father did, anything after is his fault. He's supposed to be a warning about how anger and bitterness literally burns you alive. Everyone around him has changed and become better and he is literally killing himself. That's not a positive thing in any sense of the word.

He isn't the prodigal son. He is the failure if he was the prodigy none of this would have happened.

I feel for this specific story we won't get that, but from a prequel we will defined get an explanation.

I like that there isn’t a known reason for quirks. Also I like the idea that Afo is just some guy who got a quirk that lets him play god and that enabled all his darkest dreams

I’ve always wondered that too. They probably do, but were never given a proper chance. Besides, they’re older now, and not really interested in being heroes at all, so fully developing their quirks is really unlikely.

Dabi did not experience an Awakening. Awakenings are forced evolution caused by the need for the body to preserve itself. What Dabi is experiencing is called Hysterical Strength, where instead of the Body evolving, it instead bypasses the self-installed Limits so as to prevent the body from destroying itself. Its in a similar vein to that of a Mother lifting a car to save herself or her child. This destroys the body in the process, but saves the person or thing. Its adrenaline in peak performance. Dabi always had an ice quirk, but it was so weak that when his quirk first appeared, the ice was not produced, and thus caused people to believe that he only had a Fire Quirk. That is, until dabi went into Hysterical Strength, and his body pushed itself so hard that his weak Ice Quirk, could finally appear. Dabi would never have accessed this Ice part of his quirk in the mean time.

Well if he knew and decided he wasn’t going to use his fire and just train his ive kinda how shoto did he could strengthen his ice and use it but that’s only if he knew he had it so yeah

Dabi has copies to many moves from Endeavor and that’s Prominence Burn, Jet Burn, Hell Spider, Hell Minefield and Vanishing Fist and he also copied Shoto’s move and that’s only Phosphor I wonder what’s next moves he’s going to copy there’s Hell’s Curtain, Ignited Arrow, Hellfire Storm and Vanishing Jet Burn

I don't think Dabi would have gotten this ice without being in this state. A quirk Awakening can happen in near-death experiences (Bakugo and Toga) or with intense emotion and desire (Geten) But from the narration and visually, Dabi is in a far far worse position than either of them. Plus his tolerance it too low to even train to get to that point without serious disfigurement before and especially after he went through puberty- his orange flames were already too hot. Endeavour's issue wasn't giving up on his son's training, it was giving up and running away from raising his son. The issue is that his regard, affection and attention were conditional. (Which is why Nastu and Fuyumi were ignored) God Bless

whoa whoa whoa. He stopped working with his superior fire quirked son out of regard to his son's body not being able to handle its own heat. Im not saying Endeavor is perfect, but dang, people forget he stopped working with him out of concern for his son!

@@jabaridavid1256 Quirk Awakening is not whats happening. More so, his Ice Quirk was so weak that it had not manifested in any significant way except for him having a weaker temperance for Fire, but when reaching Hysterical Strength, where everything is pushed to its max, his Ice Quirk, witch is weak to start, suddenly becomes strong, with his Fire Quirk still overpowering it. Thats part of the reason why we only see a small amount of Ice within his chest. The reason Shoto is so powerful is because both Ice and Fire at base line are equal, so he develops both in an obvious manner, thus allowing for the traning of both at the same time. With Quirks, while you can increase strength, generally you increase affinity first. (Shoto had the same power of fire as he did Ice in the Sports Event, but his affinity for Ice was much greater, thus he had better control over it.) So when you reach hysterical strength, both parts of the quirk are pushed by the same multiplier, thus making both more powerful. For Example, I have a quirk that allows me to produce Lasers from my eyes, and gems from my body. I could have a greater affinity for the Lasers, thus leading me to using it more, and seemingly it being more powerful, but instead, the quirk actually is the same power all around. When I train the quirk to get stronger, both Laser and Gem will get stronger together. When I reach Hysterical Strength, both quirks get the same power multiplier, thus becoming stronger as a result. Now imagine if at base, or manifestation, Gem was much weaker then laser eyes. It is so weak in fact, that it does not appear in any real sense, but instead I get the side effects of it. Now my skin is slightly harder than most and it is shiny and sparkly. When I increase my quirk strength, it suddenly seems as though I have a new quirk, but instead it was just hidden underneath, always present, just not strong enough to appear. It's like the manifestations of Quirks within One for All, except thats a unique case. That is what is happening to Dabi. He always had an Ice Quirk. It was too weak at base to manifest. When he increases in Quirk Strength, the Quirk suddenly seems to develop Ice. Its not an evolution.

That's also why I disagreed with the take that Endeavour should have kept training Touya "Plus his tolerance it too low to even train to get to that point without serious disfigurement before and especially after he went through puberty- his orange flames were already too hot." That's what I was thinking first is Endeavor and Rei trying to save Dabi and Shoto arrives and get his rematch against Dabi for 4 chapters and after that then it shifts back to Uraraka and Tsuyu continuing dealing against Toga and her Twice's clones for 2-3 chapters and after Gunga Mountain fight then it shifts the other fights like Aizawa and Present Mic trying to save Kurogiri and maybe Dr Garaki will return for his revenge with his Exo Suit and tells them the truth about Kurogiri 2-3 chapters, Fat Gum and Aoyama fight against Kunieda, Sero, Ojiro and Sato with several Class 1-B fight against Gashly, Gunhead, Kendo, Tetsutetsu and Death Arms captures AFO spies and Hound Dog, Ms Joke and Ketsubustsu students captures Skeptic for 1-2 chapters but in the meantime they should show all Class 1-A reaction about AFO is trying to reach to Deku while busy their own fights in each chapters whenever they're focusing on next fights and it shifts to All Might fight against AFO to stop him from also reuniting with Shigaraki for 2-3 chapters and last it shifts back to Deku continuing his final fight against Shigaraki, Bakugo's return and Class 1-A and Heroes all head towards to UA to root for Deku to take down Shigaraki after they finished their own battles for 8-9 chapters

This storyline is so bitter sweet. I feel like it’s the sort of story Horikoshi is best with. He’s said that things like this can be a bit depressing to write, so hopefully these resolutions are enjoyable for him

It would be the worst if he survives, so Shigaraki should live, right? It would have made it horrendous to see it survive and parental care and all love, what a bittersweet resolution, it would kill the work

He’s not paying attention to him because of the quirk, he’s paying attention to his lost son and also seeing insane he has gotten, that ice quirk has nothing to do w it cause dabi is only able to activate it when his life is close to death

He’s not heat resistant, thats why he has burn scars for a reason, his body inside and out is built for the cold, reis half, thats why he hasn’t dies yet because the ice stops it from getting to far, he only got the ice quirk to use because he was close to death and that coldness in his body wasn’t enough to help

His quirk wasn't weakened he needed tk find balance.

I do too! It's been my hyperfixation about as long as Dabi has been my special interest. Touya deserved to get to be happy, healthy and actually feel loved- before what happened at sekoto peak, or at least afterwards. That’s all I want for him... and if I have to write that myself- alongside fixing that mess of a society- I will... andI do so regularly.

Once Season 7 adapts Final War by showing Geten telling Mr Compress at prison by re-explaining how he did get adopted by Re Destro I hope it also adapts another skipped scene from My Villain Academia’s chapter 219 with him at the meeting with Re Destro, Skeptic, Trumpet and Curious eating their meals after they succeeds capturing Giran as flashback

Yeah... we have yet to see any sort of notice for the health of Bakugo as of yet. Hopefully they broach the subject. I would like to see him alive and even more powerful then before having an entire other person boosting both the strength of his body and bone, but of his quirk too. Maybe a way to naturally collect more and more nitroglycerin in confined area instead of having to use tech for that.

Dabi has copied too much of Endeavor’s moves like there’s Prominence Burn, Jet Burn, Hell Spider, Hell Minefield and Vanishing Fist and Phosphor is the only 1 move from Shoto that he’s copied and I feel that Dabi is also going to get Hell’s Curtain, Hellfire Storm and Ignited Arrrow on next chapters

That would be... I dont know. It could give Dabi the death he so thoroughly deserves, while saving Toya. It could also give Endeavor and Rie a chance to start over with this new child. The only problem I could see with this is the fact that they would have to push Dabi to death for him to use his Ice as this is not an Awakening. His base line Ice is just too weak so it only manifests when his Base Line has been boosted to such an extent that he is a Thermo-Nuke.

☹️if Enji gets it, so does Touya. Enji gets reawakened near his current age with no bodily issues, Touya back to the first time he burned up. If Enji actually fixes things from there, then I won't have any problems with him from then on. But raising him and offing the person his mistakes screwed up the most- no, not acceptable, don't want it or anything to do with it.

And Dabis ice quirk saves him, and endeavor rises from the ashes to keep fighting but with the mission of saving his son no matter what like a true hero. And he's probobly he immune to fire at that point allowing him to hug dabi and tell him he's proud.

No. The way it appears on his chest, with an outward flow, like that of Rie and Shoto is indicative of his production of Ice, if minute. Does he have an ice quirk as powerful as Rie or Shoto... No. Infact, Hysterical Strength is pushing his baseline quirk so far that Ice was finally able to be produced.

No, Dabi does have ice now. His body started making ice before Rei even showed up, plus Endeavor himself looked right at Dabi and said he was making ice and that Dabi had Rei's quirk. If you needed any more evidence, the whole spiel Geten had earlier this chapter was obvious foreshadowing for Dabi. Geten literally just finished saying how people in the Himura family have complicated quirks that the user themselves might not understand so that would then lead to Dabi developing his ice later in the chapter. Either way you spin it, Dabi is 100% confirmed to have an ice quirk now.

He did not. He wanted a quirk like Shoto where both Fire and Ice at Base line are equal, so that even when one becomes stronger, the other will grow in strength to match. Dabi instead has a one sided quirk with fire being through the roof in strength, but Ice being so weak that it did not manifest physically (No Ice production) but had the side effects of being an Ice Quirk User. When his base line strength increased, thus causing the Fire to become more powerful, the Ice to become more powerful. When he reached hysterical strength, his ice could finally be produced, showing that he had always had both quirks in one, but one was just too powerful while the other was too weak.
