Great campaign....no Gandalf the white which was sad for me... The Arth knights, Grey COmpany with the full armor upgrade and KOSS are just immaculate looking units.

Gandalf had plenty of chances to go down. He was my general of the north, as he promised he would. Aragorn had no need to fear as he went south.

@@epmtotalwar never knew, nor thought about how spies would impact culture or bodyguard size, nor did I know about the boats.....I love this game/mod....so much depth to it and visually my favorite Total War game (Napoleon close second) The pace of battles and unit formations are just right....obviously the game has weaknesses....but newer real time strategy games haven't really seemed better despite the graphics upgrades.

@@sizzlebang3810 I think we concluded that in DaC they removed the modifier on boats so they will always travel at the same speed but the spies effect on culture is game changing.

@@epmtotalwar I'm going to give the spy stack a try this weekend....in the mood to play some elves and if I don't have to go spending time and money to get culture up that could make those campaigns go a lot quicker.

Part of me does really want to see you make a full stack of your best units with Wardens of the White Tower, Talon Knights, Arthedain Knights, and Citadel guard for infantry, steelbowmen and Osgiliath veterans for archers and Royal Swan Guard and Arthedain royal guard for cavalry but all is well Erebor campaign next?

Some of those last armies were pretty close to that. Erebor next. Some Dwarven action.

It's the new option available on launch with version 5. There are some options to choose from on the new launcher, permanent arrows and the different textures are 2 I chose.
