Walking under an R-2R DAC means bad luck. If you love an album, put a Ring DAC on it. Whenever I watch golf on TV, I run the audio through an FPGA DAC.

@@malcatron A friend of mine was telling me about a popular device that was invented at the time of the CD coming on to the scene. He called it the "CD Purifier". It was a machine that spun the CD at some ridiculous RPM, it was so fast that it arranged and aligned the 1's and 0's to create a better and more natural sound when the CD was played back. Folks bought these, and many swore by them. I wonder if Bowie was on to something?
