This was your uncle? He was amazing! So sorry for your loss. How did he feel after the show? Was he an overnight celebrity? He had a great sense of humor!
@@jerrycollins5564I am sorry for your loss. Lifting you and your family up in my prayers. This video and your Uncle's laughter touches so many lives ❤
I remember seeing this video clip for the very first time of your uncle laughing at that very show what was he like at family events would anyone do something funny to get him going
Who else comes back to this video about once a year or so and you STILL laugh so hard and have tears coming down your cheeks?! My word, his laugh is so hilarious and contagious! 😂😭😂😭😂😭😂😭
I emailed this to my parents way back in Jan 2007 when this video was new. They really enjoyed it then. I had to watch this again as we lost Dad yesterday. He had a really recognizable laugh as well.
+Rowan Williams (MLGrobotZero) Well, twice I had to laugh for 6 hours straight. The first time I couldn't stop, dunno why. The second time it was because of drugs, not proud of that one. It was damn exhausting and I had aching abs for the next two days. But it was damn funny xD
OMG THANK YOU!! I was there! I was 6 years old at the time and just turned 20 this week. Your dad's laugh was the most rememberable part of it for me! I laughed so hard I cried and ive tried to find the video for years! His laugh has been stuck in my head for 13 years and it always makes me happy when I hear it in my head😂 If he is still with us, please tell him for me how rememberable he made the trip with my family! I was only 6 so I only remember bits and pieces of the whole weekend trip. I went with I think 7 of my family members and only 1 is still alive today so my memory of that trip with my family is very precious to me and your dad made it all that much better!! I truly hope all is well with him almost 14 years later! ❤❤😘🥰
Excuse me is Doug the guy with the yellow shirt I remember his laugh chainber when he was laughing at the guy and the offices was laughing at his laugh
7 year old me is sitting in that crowd. This was my family's first time in Gatlinburg, we've been almost every year since. The comedy barn has been a must ever since we first went, which was this show. Ive never cried more from laughter at his laugh.
that's your DAD. that's amazing. your dad halted an entire planned entertainment program by just being himself. and now he's been seen by probably hundreds of millions of people (this isn't the first channel I've seen this video on). that's an incredible thing. that's the rarest thing in the world. treasure that. I hope you all do. your dad is beloved.
I was at this show so many years ago only a couple rows from the stage. It was the funniest things I had ever experienced. I can even hear me laughing from time to time. If I need a laugh I pull out my DVD that I bought and go to this part.
Oh man. I remember laughing myself to cramps at this gem for the first time in 2007. It got passed around to the point that Doug was a sensation at my school for a solid month. Legend
Oh hey.. I'd recognize that laugh anywhere. Isn't that the old guy from the skype laughter chain video? Or are there actually 'two' people in the world that laugh like that?
Its odd, but almost my favorite part of this video is the two other guys that the comic pulled up on stage laughing before he set the microphone up in front of your dad! They had almost a full minute to listen to and crack up over his laugh before the microphone was set up and them laughing uncontrollably over something we couldn't even hear yet was almost funnier to me then when the comic set up the microphone! Lmfao your dad has the best laugh!
2,523 people do not see the COMEDY in COMEDY barn! How could someone not like this?! I had tears! The comedy barn is great! They made me and my husband stand up and kiss because we were there on our honeymoon. We ended up moving to Tennessee and lived there for 5 years.
I love the expression on the host's face. It's like right at that moment, he realized this had to be shared with the entire world. Rest easy, Doug Collins. Thanks for making everyone laugh!
I suffer from an illness that causes crippling nausea to the extent that just getting out of bed can be impossible. I've tried all sorts of medical treatments that have never worked. I watch Doug (and the tank builder guy's reaction is worth mentioning too) and 9:02 later and I feel a thousand times better. The man's a healer. If laughter is the best medicine Doug is a high grade, nuclear strength, one man pharmaceutical giant. Thank you Doug.
It's a classic. One of the first videos I bumped into when got access to the internet. Along with the "Charlie bit my finger" video. At that time I did not know what gems I just found. Today, one and a half decade later I know. The youtube and the internet indeed was a better place.
@cherrilemon dead account ignore That's actually racist to say. You're literally generalizing an entire race. White people aren't the only ones that drink Starbucks.
My family visited the Comedy Barn two years ago and my Dad and Uncle both had the privilege to share the stage with this man. We were sitting on the front row and I had never laughed so hard in my life! Love this guy!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the guy that was laughing into the microphone passed away this year. I am the pastor of a church in Memphis and one of my members was friends with him. They drove the bus together. My wife got to meet him and I was wanting to meet him so bad. I was told that he was a wonderful man.
I have seen so many funny videos on RU-vid.. and this video hands down has made me laugh so damn hard it tops everything else. Funniest video online period
@@SirKankus don't know what your problem is but I do know it's not me. I'm sure he probably has passed away by now but I bet he passed knowing that he spread joy to other people.
I've been in a very rough season recently that's been detrimental to my mental health. Whenever I feel like the world is collapsing on itself I come to this video and it makes everything so much better and makes my day. You sir, have saved my life from death and thank you for sharing this blessing of contagious laughter God blessed you with.
