Papa Cat looks like he could be part Ragdoll! Could also be part Japanese Bobtail, with the colors. I haven't seen any Calico Ragdolls. Great question! I'd be interested to know his mix.
@@MalesAreDemonsofc u think that if u have a username like that. Why do the opposite genders hate eachother these days. They both play an equal role in society and both r needed. For cats it's true most of the time the male cat doesn't rlly do anything to raise the kittens but if ure saying that abt in general, including humans, then that's just problematic. And I'm a female myself btw

While highly rare, a male cat can have a calico coat with 3 colours. - These people raise multiple animals, I'm sure they know what gender the animals are.
I completely agree. Dad is teaching the kitten, not ignoring them. This is how they learn. Notice that dad doesn't leave and how he watches the kitten at the end to see if they will settle down. This is great cat behavior and excellent socialization. This kitten will grow up to be a confident, great cat because of this dad.
Exactly!! That's funny. I've had both dogs and cats all my life and it IS funny how wagging tails between dogs and cats are completely opposite. Although with one exception, when your petting or playing with your cat and it raises their tail in the air or make it go into the shape of a question mark, that means they're happy and enjoy the petting. Love them all.
Alot of the Panthera types do move their tail around to entertain the littles ones if they are tired. See lions for example, having a siesta because it's too hot. And the cubs being active, moving their tail around will keep the cub busy so it doesnt wander off. Or keeping the pride from sleeping. I have seen some felines do it as well. But alot less, your average house cat will get insulted by it most of the time 😂.
This is hilarious how the dad cat is just gently trying to let his little one know that he's just too tired to play right now, lol. I like that music, too.
@@StonedUp1 Yeah, that’s generally a sign that you’ve done something that is annoying them. However, I used to like to play a little game with my cat. Whenever he would beat his tail, I would pat my hand on the table, bed, etc. in imitation of him. We would do this back and forth until he got bored. 😊
I'd say he had a job as Security Cat down at the Local Factory. After getting disturbed by sonny boy/the little princess here, I bet he's wishing his good lady would get back from the store A.S.A.P.

I love the eye to eye "moment" they had in the middle. That kitten was like, "I'm yours! You're gonna love me!" I relate, as a child I too had to win over some relatives! LOL
@@eugenefrankmd5433 I had 4 of those. I never did win with Narcs either. That's why I'm still on support groups for that to this day. I was lucky though and out lived them all and try to duck new ones now. That's all I can do. Topping it off I was extra sensitive back then and they had a grand old time. Oh well living on and living well's the best revenge. Bless.

Don't you just love how the kitten is 'probing' dad just enough to activate that toy he has? Dad: "It's not a toy son..." as the universal cat sign of annoyance, proceeds to swish 'toy' in junior's face!

Kitty knows Dad loves him and won't really go for him. I also love at the end where kitty has picked up the cat trait of pretending to be disinterested and starting to wash 😂
Washing/grooming immediately after ANY stressful interaction is the cat's attempt to calm themselves. That's why you'll see cats suddenly grooming right after they've fought, escaped danger, reacted to a loud noise... It may seem like they are feigning disinterest, lol, but it's a much more practical act...
For those saying otherwise, this is the kitten's dad and he is NOT a Calico. See the family's other videos. What you're seeing as orange/honey is just a beautiful brown which can be seen more clearly throughout his body on other videos.
The adult cat is tri-colored making it a calico. "Only 1 in 3000 calicos that are born are male.” It is Extremely rare for one to be born male and when it happens it can actually be news worthy and has been! Therefore this cat is almost certainly female, but an absolutely adorable and precious video none the less! ♥️
