I can not take it when any of them break down crying. But there is something about when Tae cries or is hurt that just annihilates you. The first time I saw them get an award and Jin was talking about the moment when they were discussing disbanding. Everyone was crying but when the camera caught Tae, I wept uncontrollably. He is such a rare soul. At moments like that, you just wanna make everything better for him & protect him, which why I love it so much when they protect each other.
Agreed!! Hangry is real! There are more stories that are hilarious and still come up once in a while, like the jk and jhope banana incident. One thing that I find admirable is that Bang PD taught the guys that whenever any of them had a disagreement, they were to resolve it together. If you check out the Burn The Stage series, there is an incident where Tae and Jin argued but the guys came together and squashed it. Their love and respect BTS has for one another is so real. To understand this properly you have to understand the significance that they are born in the same year. The only members of BTS where age hierarchy does not come into it, so they are equals. It even has a special name in Korea for friends born in the same year. The second thing to remember all Jimins early training was primarily martial arts and contemporary dance. As a trainee he even had a problem with extreme dieting( because the haters started group cyber bullying and calling Jimin fat... a sore point for dancers) there is footage of RM insisting Jimin eat.. BTS are all Weight conscious. Jins manager even once called Tall lanky Jin a pig. So though Jimin no longer has an active problem with food he still has a tendency to control it. No doubt he was looking forward to the dumplings as a reward and a treat for completing his training. V had been zcgingbon the set of HWARANG and said he was starving. I think perhaps Jimin had said he wanted to wait and felt they had come to an agreement. Whereas V didn't argue he just went ahead and ate them. They were young then. I am due V fix not understand Jimins control issues with food and Jimin felt disregarded and disrespected. Neither was in the wrong really.
I feel you on the Hangry. I work as a prep cook and I usually don't get to eat lunch from being busy. By two o'clock, my coworkers know to come give me a snack, otherwise I shut down and side eye everyone. My own fault tho cuz I don't eat breakfast much😅

4 o clock is such a beautiful song. Even Namjoon had vocals in it, and nobody reacts to that song... Well, they are missing out. 4 o clock is absolutely beautiful, and knowing that Taheyung wrote that song because of the dumpling incident and their friendship... it is simply so beautiful.
Nestor, I want to take this opportunity to bring some awareness. To some people, "hangry" may be more than just being super hungry. It could be a medical situation called HYPOGLYCEMIA. Your sugar / glucose levels gets dangerously low that your mind goes into full survival mode and you cannot think of anything else other than eating. You start to feel nauseous, you get cold sweats, you get dizzy, your heart starts racing and you start trembling, etc. This gets expressed as anger and to people who have never experienced it, this may seem like an overreaction but it's very real. People with diabetes often know what this is. But even without diabetes, a young man like V can experience it if he has been doing strenuous activities and did not eat the whole day. I urge everyone to be aware of your own body's signals and listen when your body tells you.
Its like they fought little things when they after debute. Its common when you live with someone everyday, and practice everyday. But what is special is, their group still together after 10years and love and support each other. Which is Mr.Bang said, he cannot make the new group like bts.

According to JK, ARMY got a really watered down version of the story. He said they really sugar coated and downplayed the intensity of it. Which makes sense cuz its been like 10 years and the dumpling incident is still talked about, clearly it was insane and left an impact. 💜😂 I do think its one for those scenarios where the dumpling was really _the straw that broke the camels back_ , probably pent up frustration that became an outpour of emotion because of the dumplings, but the actual argument had nothing to do with the dumplings.

The background I heard on the incident was that it was during Tae's time filming the K-drama "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth". It was his first acting job, and he was having a hard time. He was filming during the day and having to go back and rehearse with the members at night. He was exhausted and hungry, and he asked the staff to order him the dumpling. While Tae was waiting for it to be delivered, the members started showing up and the rest they say is history.

The problem was...V had been filming for the kdrama "Hwarang" all morning and hadn't ate anything yet. Jimin not realizing this said let's wait till after practice to eat the dumplings. So V was starving and ate first and caused an argument with Jimin who was upset that V wouldn't wait and eat when the rest do after practice. But V couldn't wait because he had been working all morning already and had worked up an appetite.
I honestly I believe this escalated the way it did out of jealousy cause Tae was getting super close this his fellow actors in the drama, even in making up Jimin told him "I want to be someone you can relay on".... the dumpling was just the final straw for this conversation. you should also watch 4 o'clock and vmin moments i think about alot

Nesto, as I was listening to you talk about getting hangry when you're editing, an idea came to me (not sure if Army made this suggestion yet or not). When you are editing have a snack next to you to nibble on while you do it until you are ready to eat a full meal. Try it see if it helps. Just take care of yourself and you will feel better both physically & mentally.

There is a little more to this story. Tae got stuck in traffic on the way back from the studio or there wouldn't really have been a problem but he arrived late with no time to eat. After a day shooting he was ravenous and being a young man he just had to refuel. It all ended amicably and as Tae said they were all rather sensitive at the time with the pressure of being new artists trying to find a foothold and all the practice hours they were putting in.
