I love this intimate display between the mom and the baby. I believe what feels so familiar is what they display when they're with mom. It is a natural feeling to have from any humans and animals.

Can you imagine adopting one of these cuties and then it grows up and looks like a monster. I believe these are almost the ugliest and mean looking monkeys I have seen.
Wish you wouldn't have censored the part before -- where Skull head was mating with her. That's usually the only time males will groom the females. Not always, but usually. And it's why that baby was crying -- males get ticked off when the babies interrupt the mating so they'll warn the baby off which he most certainly did. But again, you cut all this important stuff out and censor your videos to push some alternative narrative.
By 1 year of age they definitely have lost that cute baby look and when begging just don't look innocent and starving, I guess it makes it easier for mom and others to send them on tehir way when they don't want to be tied up parenting him. If another baby is on the way mom is setting him up for a huge amount of jealousy and he will probably be seen picking on any newborn sibling that comes along.

The new thing in "the land of dead babies and kidnappings" seems to be giving hot sauce or very spicy food to the monkeys, and filming their "funny" reactions -- ie getting sick and rolling around in pain -- after they eat the food.

Wow, I'm surprised by all the comments calling it beautiful and moving. I thought she should have given him a nip. If he's a year old and they only live til 25 or so, that would be like a second grader sobbing uncontrollably because he wants his mommy. I think they are monkeys and we aren't. I don't know what they "should" do anymore than you or anyone else does. I'm not as confused as most that their connections are like our own. They are wild animals, not humans.
