What’s interesting (and sad) is that toddlers will dance with abandon. But notice the kid at about age 9, staring back at the man dancing. She has already been socialized (in the US) to believe dancing like this is odd. It’s too bad. This guy is awesome. We all need to be like him.
what's sad is that "older people" are some novelty. We don't die at 30, people. If we're still breathing, we're still movin. Now move aside while I busta moove
This is why you never make fun of anyone having the time of their life, they were doing it longer than you, it's really a privelege as you get older, life is too f!cking short.
The beauty of getting older is that you don’t give a F**K what young people think of you. Most older people look at the young and think, “we weren’t that stupid when we were their age”.
And now with a global pandemic, there are so many people who can’t leave their homes and enjoy human interaction. Enjoy life to the fullest everyone like this guy. Dance and don’t worry about who’s watching ! Life truly is too short
Dear Someone's Dad I've searched for a HERO all my life. Then I found you. A real man's kinda man! Your lack of give a damn moving to the groovin gracefully like sunshine through a cloudless day. You, the fearless soldier battling against the beat like I do in my bathroom mirror when no one is looking. I praise your strength to not only shatter the boundaries of others space with moves of a ninja but, your ability to maintain that Business/Casual look. I know that isn't easy. Thank you for giving me a purpose. Encouraging me to Push through the insecurities and just Let lose. You not only made my day. You made me whole! Continue to shake your grove thing until you cant anymore. May the Gods keep those Adidas laced securely while blocking the arthritic pains of time. May the music keep that rhythm moving your heart until time stands still. Your more than just a fan. Your an inspiration!
All those hours in the late 70's, studying The Village People dance moves on Solid Gold and hours of dedicated practice have culminated here in this very moment.
Don't care what anyone says, his dancing is better than anyone else in the entire video! Much more effort than someone jumping up and down and pointing at the person playing the music lol!
Why do you assume that one needs to be on drugs to dance? Just because you might lack the confidence to let yourself go without substance abuse, does not mean that he's on something. Also, drugs have been around like forever. You are showing your naivety and lack of understanding.
Here we go you can tell its 2021 labeling something that people have done for many years ago now during a time when it didn't matter the colour . It Was just a good time. But yes enjoy your racist white Carlton, you surely had to point out, just to feed your self petite to see how many thumbs up you can get.
@@customfitment9396 oh no! Someone made a valid observation! Let's get upset when our whole premise is race doesn't matter 🤣 can you see the irony in your stance?
This guy just out there living his best life, I definitely got some 80’s vibes. I’m in my early 40’s and when I saw comments about Soul Train and Solid Gold killed me 🤣
"He lost in music" Fun to watch enjoying himself ....From a small birthday party to a big festival or even into a parents day when the rhythm get you just let yourself go with the flow like this gentlemen "Beacuse music is a spiritual thing"
My dad used to act goofy like this all the time! It would sometimes drive me crazy, especially if my friends were around to see it, he would be dancing through the house, signing something like "my girl, or beast of burden, anything really haha...and I'd usually brush him off, and be embarrassed. But oh what I wouldn't do, now to see him acting silly dancing with my mom, or singing to me... You sometimes are annoyed by things your parents do in your youth, too worried about what everyone else thinks. Then when you grow up, you look back on all those times- and you just smile and realize, they didn't do those things to embarrass you,...they just wanted to show you they cared! My worse, "proud dad" moment: was at an awards ceremony in high school, they had chairs in the gym floor for the students, who won an award to sit in,....the parents were to sit in the bleachers. As I, along with a group of students walk into the gym and find our seats, I hear everyone whispering, who is this guy? Why is he sitting down here? Then one of my friends said, oh my gosh isn't that your dad? I look back in horror, and yes of course it was! Haha he was sitting in the back row, taking millions of pictures, then as my name was called to walk up to the stage, you could hear him screaming, that's my girl! I can look back and laugh about it now, but I'll tell ya in that moment- I could have died! 🤔😆😜 (I didn't mean to write a book there, just got carried away).
It always bothers me how these people dance alone.. everyone laughing and being way to concerned with what others think of them. If we all could just let go a little and pick up on his carefree vibe. How amazing would that be.. ❤️
That dude is between 35 and 45 (more or less) He is an 70's/80's child... We never care what the world thought of us, we just learned to live FREE and HAPPY... We enjoy dancing like nobody is watching this is one more reason why THE 80'S ROCK!!!
Hahahahaha YES! Zero Fs. This is probably his one night out all year. Purposely lost his kids in the crowd. Took whatever he could find in the medicine cabinet and made the best of it. I feel him on a spiritual level.
Amazing moves of the 70's-80's generations ... A wonderful dad who are very appreciated of the music & no hesitations of his moves in the public areas.... That's the man!!! Who loves to live to the fullest w/ full of positivism in life.... A very extrovert kind of a dad!!! I salute you Sir .... Go go go for it !!! Just continue that kind of positive attitude... It serves an inspirations to everyone of us!!! GOD bless & your family .... 😍🙏😍
How adorable is to see "older" people (whatever this means) living a moment in a concert while the new generation sits like a techno-zombie with a smartphone in its hands...
My dad took me watch a kids concert in a park when I was about 7. I was really excited, except he ended up getting black out drunk and beating the shit out of me in front of a huge crowd of kids and parents. Instead of watching the show I had to go to hospital and then the police station.
As I watched this man over and over and over laughing because he's the true rock 🌟 I became sad. I wondered what does he do for a living and other thoughts crossed my mind; I became sad because you never know if he's sick and was truly living for the moment. My twin had cancer and a church member recalled at her HOME GOING that they were at a parade the cars were backed up; he recalled her getting out of the car and high stepping it like she was the marching band leader. She died of lung cancer at home surrounded by loved ones. Just reminds me that you never know what someone is going thru. God bless him with a long life to bring joy to many.
