I send my condolences to your family I am going to paint a rock today and I am all the way here in Baltimore Maryland if you can respond to my comment and tell me her favorite color I would would appreciate it again thank you and God bless I know it's very hard and it's very very very sad that a human being could do that
The fact they still pay her cellphone bill so her friends can still write her broke me. I texted my mom's phone for a long time after she passed until I got the undelivered message indicating her number is deactivated. It was a comfort to write to her there so I appreciate them keeping the phone active for her friends and family.
@@stephanied6451 my dads wife took my dads phone and I never got to get the pics off of it. So I call and leave nasty messages and I sign her up for all kinds of stuff
Having the phone of a loved one still be active after many years would be disheartening. I would keep the line for six months to a year after the death.
@Mimi It could be, there's been plenty of convicted murderers who've gone on to show their genuine remorse. Most people can tell the difference between a sincere apology and an insincere one
Dorthy Jolgren Moxley, whose daughter was murdered on 30 October 1975, has still not received an apology from her daughter's killer, though the murderer is believed to still be alive, along with suspected witnesses.
Losing a sibling is an indescribable pain. I feel so deeply for Tristyn’s siblings. I lost my brother almost 3 years ago now and the devastation is more than I can put into words. I’m so heartbroken for this family 😢
@@JSweez87 I really appreciate that. Truly some of the kindest and most encouraging words I’ve received have been from people online that I don’t know. And I appreciate every kind word and prayer so much, regardless of where they come from. So thank you
I lost my 25 year old son on Dec3rd in Jacksonville unexpectedly to a aneurysm and my heart is completely shredded. I can’t imagine having even less years with my child and my child being murdered so senselessly and having to deal with all the court stuff as well.
Very very deeply deeply sorry for your loss, and of course I echo this same sentiment to all of the members of the Bailey family, as well as all of the rest of her loved ones, like her friends, her cheer team, and everybody at her school and in her community that were touched by her in a positive way. I’m at least glad that her family was spared the even more extensive grief than they’ve had to go through already, by going through a long and lengthy trial. ❤️🙏🏻🕊🤍
This angel was really blessed with an awesome family dynamic. Blessed with a father most girls could only have dreamed of having. My heart goes out to the baileys. All of the siblings did incredible speaking today and you too Mr Bailey. Prayers to you alll 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
This poor man 😢 and the poor family. I couldn’t and don’t want to try to imagine their pain. Anything short of life without parole is unacceptable. There is no rehabilitation for this kind of evil. RIP angel ❤️
You could hear his pain from his voice... yet I can't imagine how horrible he must feel, but you got a good idea from the things he talked about. The feeling like a zombie, going through the motions. I wouldn't blame anyone for completely collapsing after a loss like this.
@@twatwafflearttheclown there is a strong chance he'll never be let out. But legally that was the max sentence they could give to a minor in that state.
Losing a loved one does not pass. You just get used to it as time passes by. You cry less until eventually you can handle talking about that person without bursting into tears. It takes years, but death has no timeline. It is continuous until you die.❤❤❤
The most powerfully, articulate speech from a father who is clearly beyond destroyed. Yet he retained the greatest dignity. Like his lost daughter, if only there were more like him in the world. Xx
What a testament to the father he is, to encourage his family while struggling in his own grief. To push them to see how they are accomplishing things despite daily feelings of failure.
He is like a younger version of Nik Cruz. Both those dudes are a lost cause. Can't do much except lock them up for good. Maybe some people are just evil, I dunno. It appears that way.
I am so touched by the Bailey family, each one of them spoke with such integrity and love and wisdom, even Sophia who wasn’t ready to speak was represented. They are such an amazing family, they look out for eachother, they literally have each other’s backs. I am so touched by their family love. Each member is so important to the whole. Obviously one member, Trysten, is absent. I have no doubt she would have had an incredible effect on the world. Those who knew her, shared how she was full of life and goodness. The ripple on humanity she had already caused in her lifetime has been magnified by the love she raised in her family and community, we are indeed more humane now because of what we have experienced with Trysten and the whole Bailey family. May the love continue to rise and the goodness spread forever. May Peace be with each and every member of Trysten’s family and community.
They "literally" have each others backs?? I didn't think that was remotely possible! When watching these clips, I don't see the backs of the members of the Bailey family being held by each other! By the way, Tristyn's first name is spelled "T-R-I-S-T-Y-N" not "T-R-Y-S-T-E-N". ~Dutch
Father to Father , I pray that you don't allow the devil to enter your mind. I don't want to imagine what I myself would do in your position. I shudder to think of what I would be thinking or planning , to make this demon pay for what he did. As a man , I hope that you find some sort of peace. As a human being with strong faith - the sheer rage must be unbearable. Please don't allow that rage to drive you to that dark place where we are capable of committing something heinous. All in an attempt to alleviate the pain. Please Please Lord Bless this Man and his family. 🙏🙌 Send your Angels to comfort them. 💔💔💔💔💔💔 R.I.P. beautiful girl. My God , this is heartbreaking!! 😢😢😢😢😢
I don't know how I was able to sit through most of the family's impact statements but I've been in nonstop tears for the better part of 2 hours and I can't even begin to scratch the surface on what they must be going through. This is just horrible 😭😭 My whole heart goes out to them if that means anything at all.
Everyone of these family members are inpactful. The pain is palpable. The closeness they shared has been ripped apart and sewn back together in a way they never imagined. This family, through all of their pain and torment, is so strong. I will sincerely pray that they continue to strive for better and stay closely together, I think it's impartive for them and for trystans memory. GOD BLESS YOU BAILEY FAMILY. 🙏 ❤
I just don’t understand why a girl with such a good family would be sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night to the woods out of all places with a boy that apparently looked crazy by just looking at him. It’s a shame and I can’t imagine the pain her family is facing. My condolences
Such powerful words from a grieving father and his family. He held himself together magnificently to put across how proud he is of his family, of Tristyn & his feelings of love for them all. His heart must be broken. His respect towards the Judge too, such an articulate man during a very difficult time. His love for his family overcame the hate he has for his daughter's killer..."he loathes his existence" and rightly so!
This horific crime has effected me more than. Could of imagined it's on par with Skylar neece which also got to me my heartfelt prayers go out to this beutiful family I know you'll probably never see this but I love you 💓
That man is made out of gold. This is a humble human being. This is a strong person. This is a true father. I'm glad his letter is fully documented here.
This family is truly an amazing circle of love. I have never witnessed such strength from their impact statements. May they all find the peace and comfort within to manage through life. Your angel, Tristyn, is with you always. Bless you all
As a parent with two teen 15 and 14, boys, and a 12 almost 13 year old daughter, and a 5 year old daughter. Me and my husband wouldn't know if we could survive loosing one.
I literally sobbed with this family. Their impact statements touched me deeply. I pray they continue to have the unlimited support in every way for the rest of each of their lives. R.i.P sweet girl who would have made a difference in the world if she was living but has made a difference in everyone's lives even when she is gone.... even those who do not know her or the family. I don't wish bad upon others but I hope the animal who has taken her life feels the wrath of what's to come in his life from Karma & judgement of God, based on what he has done.
My heart is shattered for the pure agony that your family lives with every minute of every day. I am truly thankful to see the love that your family shares for one another; it is truly that love, the squad that you all are that is holding you all together physically, emotionally. May God be with your family, friends and community every day.
I’m so so very sorry for your loss of a beautiful sister friend and Daughter. I can’t fathom just how much pain you all are going through. Your Daughter sounded like a very special young lady who was full of life and and everything else that she has accomplished in her short life. She will always live on in your memories and forever in your family. I would like to say that again I’m so sorry for your loss and I hope and pray that someday you will all find peace with in your family. I am sending thoughts and prayers and big hugs to you all. God Bless You all. 😢😢😢😢💔💔💔💔
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ This is a Father, I have watched the impact statements of all the members of Tristan's family, her 2 sisters, her brother, her mother and now her father. They were all well written and emotionally stated, starting with her 2nd eldest sister placing the 114 stones in the jar that represent the stab wounds her sister had to endure. To find out that there was no motive or reason to kill this child who is so loved, from a loving family ❤ other than Aiden Fucci wanting to feel what it felt like to kill someone 💔 is such a horrible thing to know. His own Grandmother also hurt, I wonder why he would do such a thing. 6 stabs were fatal, 108 was just his greed and were unnecessary. My thoughts and prayers are with Tristan's family. Thank you for your love and kindness. The good that your family viewed other's with is shattered I hear so. But please be there for one another. Maybe someday you will trust others again, because the world needs good for evil to die. Your trauma robbed many souls from being saved BECAUSE of your future efforts. Remember for evil to thrive, good people must do nothing. I appeal to your family to believe in doing something to fight against evil. The eldest daughter's anger alone could fuel the way, her brother's life direction now changed, please don't allow your victimisation to continue 🙏 because of the evil that met your beautiful daughter and sister that fateful day ❤ rise and be who you ARE, from the little I was exposed to, I can safely say that all of your souls are definitely children of God. May you all remain blessed and favoured by our Heavenly Father despite your trauma. Amen 🙏🏼 Sincerely, Claire
I do not understand how this defendant does not deserve the same punishment as countless others have been given, some for less heinous acts. Why does age even get considered? This is the reason there are no true deterrents to crime, especially as one who may be under the age of 18. Our society has become a society that holds no true justice and consequences, because each state has different punishments for the same crime. The society focuses on the childhood and the negative things that may have happened to the perpetrator. They do not see that the laws and the enforcement of the punishments for crime are an example used for deterrent of crime. Yet those who want to commit the crimes see these cases where, over and over again, the punishments do not fit the crime. They realize that they have a chance to “get away with it” or a chance to avoid real justice and consequences. We justify what people do based on their individual life experiences. I do not feel that there are people who sailed through childhood and subsequent adulthood, who have not been met with the evil that exists in our world, yet, they do not perpetrate that evil on others who are innocent. Courts have become a place where the rights of criminals always usurp the rights that the victims had to live their lives in peace and security. We have simply become a society of excuses. We are not teaching our children that we have a responsibility to abide by the laws of our government, the laws of human decency, and the laws of personal responsibility and accountability. You are no right to encroach on the rights of others. Not everyone wins and receives a trophy. There are no true “safe spaces.” You are the master of your own destiny. Necessity is the mother of invention. You have to work to eat, because you do not have the right to expect your needs to be met by another person or the government. I do not understand how these defense attorneys can defend the guilt of their clients and excuse their criminal acts. I understand our constitution and our inalienable rights under it. I do believe that the state needs to prove guilt, but when guilt is proven, and a person is found to be guilty, they deserve equal punishment under the law. There should be no mitigation or justification. They have the audacity to plead for leniency in front of the judge and the families of the victim, while they are going to go home every night to their families. How would they defend the person, if the heinous crime had been perpetrated upon their loved one? Would the justify, mitigate, or please for leniency? When did it become more about the rights of the criminal, instead of the right that the victim had to live a life of peace and security? It maddens me when I hear these people speak of their clients and try so hard to have them not face the penalties for their crime, obviously after they are found guilty. I apologize for the rant, but I am baffled by the entirety of the justice system at this point.
I don't want anyone judging or coming for me because I can't imagine the horror that poor girl went thru and what her loved ones are suffering now, this was a horrific and brutal crime and my prayers and condolences go out to her family and may their precious child continue to rest peacefully 💔🕊❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.....now I'm going to say this,I don't know what it is or why I feel the way I do,in any other case like this I would be calling for something bad to happen to the perpetrator but in this case it's just something about him,I think his parents failed him and because of their failure to get him the help he desperately needed and cried out for is tragic and everytime I look at that young man my heart breaks for him,I can't explain it but all I see is fear, hurt and emptiness in his eyes,I'm sorry this happened and really wish it hadn't, a family was destroyed and now he has to pay for what he did😔
My prayers go to you and your family I’m sorry that he took your daughters wife but I agree with you and your family 100% he deserves to be behind bars for the rest of his
I think the best "apology" for the father would be getting to be alone in a room with the young man who killed his daughter with the door locked from the outside, for about 20 minutes. That is the only "apology" that I would want if I was the father.
I’m sorry but prison is not good enough to die by death penalty, and not live forever in prison that’s mine and I say in my heart goes out to the family and my condolences to you all .May Your daughter rest in heaven with the angels Amen
Omg I cannot even begin to imagine the pain this family has gone through and continues to go through on a daily basis. The survivor guilt I'm sure is eating them alive and I just wish more than anything that I could give any and all of them one minute of peace. One minute just for the rest of time even I'm sure would be an unimaginable gift... R.I.P Tristyn... you are an angel
Not sure how to break this to you young man, but no one is buying what your selling. For you to be the smartest person in the room... the rest of us would have to be severly mentally disabled.
When Mr. Bailey talks about feeling like a zombie, and he couldn't be more right - with the exception that even zombies are motivated by some kind of goal, even if it's eating brains. When you're in the beginning stages of grief, it feels like someone locked you in a deprivation tank and left you there with no way out. The only thing you feel is fear and sadness. All you can do is ask questions with no one there to give you the answers: Why me? How am I supposed to deal with this? What do I do now? Complete hopelessness. I can say with experience it does ease up over time, but it never goes away.
I know he is doing all he to keep himself togather. We have lost kids in our family because human trafficking from boyfriend s,and people we knew for years. These people are not human, heart broken for you
Yes, you can see that the father is really holding back. When you hear a father make the statement "I loath your very existence" and that there's no human decency in the coward that killed his daughter in such a calm and firm manner, you know he means business. If you left him in the room with that psycho, I'm certain the father wouldn't allow the killer to walk out of there. And no one could blame him.
My heart goes out to this father. There is no greater loss than that of a child, and for the loss to be perpetrated with such evil, it is that much more of a torture.
Yes, he is right. Aiden apology IS insincere. The father says this in anger, but he isn't wrong. I hope the judge and jury realizes that. The ONLY reason he confessed, was because there was so much evidence against him and he was probably told doing do would get him a lighter sentence. I hope they take that into consideration too.
He had thrown up so many red flags from 11 to 14 years of age. It was fully documented and still it ends up in the brutal slaughter of an innocent girl. Heads should roll.
@cherylhaskell9830 they are partly responsible - your country's healthcare system is an utter disgrace and is also partly struggle. Stop being in denial.
The problem with your opinion is that it is only HALF TRUE. There are red flags EVERYWHERE. Our nation idolizes murder, death and pain. Our movies are laden with horror and pain. Our culture thrives on chaos. It’s incredibly easy to put this kid and his parents on blast, but while they are to blame so is the culture itself.
@Mary Jane my aunt died on 9 August 2012, at just 64, followed by her sister on 17 January 2014, aged only 60. Their mother survived her only two children, dying finally, at 100, in May 2021.
It’s truly my biggest fear. Without doubt. I’d go through anything RATHER than go through that. Id rather suffer pain, suffer torture, suffer anything, than have to be a parent who lost her child. Because, regardless, if you lose your child, you’re going through pain, and torture, every minute of every day for the rest of your life. No. I’d die of a broken heart. The best of me would die, even if my body didn’t. I’m so sad for any human being that has to survive with such insurmountable pain and suffering!
As a father of 2 young daughters, one of Tristyns' age... I can only imagine the pain you're feeling. There are no words a father can say to another in such a difficult time. My families prayers are with you. This crime has touched my family's hearts, forever. Stay strong! Greetings from Germany!
I couldn’t imagine coming face to face with the thing that murdered my daughter and not being able to give back the 114 stabs and watch the life drain out of the useless thing like it did to my daughter. The thing is getting off easy.
praying for you dad, I know you want to reach across that courthouse and avenge your baby, because this is a monster who will never understand what he did.
This was such a heinous, senseless, brutal act. Reminds me of Paris Bennett who, at the age of 13, murdered his baby sister. These types of sociopaths can’t be rehabilitated. They are demons in human form and should be locked up forever. Prayers for this beautiful family. My heart breaks for them. 🙏🏻
it makes me sick to keep seeing the garbage of society continuingly destroying all that is good and decent in our lives. The innocent keep taking the blunt hint of all that is evil by these monsters.
What's causing it though? What is causing all this anger ( with a lot of young dudes) ? Not making excuses for him, but something is just seriously wrong here. He is not the only one obviously.
An extremely well-crafted and impactful statement - your humble and self-aware tone made your statement one of the most genuinely moving statements I’ve seen delivered in open court. You have an extraordinarily brave, bright, and loving family. I can’t put into words how truly sorry I am for your loss. Sending you all my best wishes and my hopes for a future full of kindness and healing from Pensacola.
This loving father's testament to his daughter was absolutely heart wrenching. And at the same time it was beautifully delivered. What a wonderful father and family. Prayers for your peace. 🌾🙏😔
