To explain, growing up Dad would put us in a headlock and say “Oh no, a bear trap! What’s the magic word?”…and we’d say “Calf rope!”. This is something his dad did when he was growing up so he passed it on and I couldn’t pass up the chance to surprise him! I miss him and his laugh and his tight hugs so much! My advice is to record moments and stories with your parents.. or your kids while you have the chance. We’re never guaranteed tomorrow.
