Yeah let your dad ramble. You don't realize how many of us like watching him because we didn't have a father who took the time to explain things to us tell us stories or share wisdom. Many of us love watching for that reason. He's as good of a dad as he is a chef. Your dad's not an iron chef. Your chefs an iron dad. Lol. We really do love his stories and the wisdom he shares. My dad was basically frank from shameless.

I think your Dad 's favorite thing is his Boys, his joy in being together is palpable, it makes him terrifically approachable (not that I would, after all we're Canadian). I see a wee granddaughter to spoil and learn from, cause girls approach things so differently from boys!
My one thing I’d eat for the rest of my life is lobster, if I had the money. 😝 Otherwise, a nice sockeye salmon is also really good. Eat it like sushi or smoked or cedar wood grilled or butter poached. So many ways to prepare, you wouldnt get bored of it, and all of it would be super yummy 😋
I think many people would appreciate to actually hear more of what your dad thinks. I get it there is the joke that he talks long about certain things, but thats the experience and knowledge talking.
