In case no one else has said it, Ludwig Goransson is a composer that Gambino met because Ludwig was doing the score/music for Community while he was on the show. He's produced at least most of every Gambino album thus far, but also has won Grammys and an Oscar for his work on movies such as Black Panther, Creed, Star Wars and more. Man is already kind of a legend, on top of producing most of this album he also is the one hitting the guitar solo on The Worst Guys.

I listen to a podcast about this album because this album is so fucking fascinating to me. The store goes as this character "the boy" Continues on from the other album camp I believe there are four chapters to this album. You can see the Is chapters By seeing where Roman numerals are for each scene. For example chapter one scene one and so on. Listen closely to the lyrics pay attention is very interesting on How they word things in this story

This is definitely one of my top 5 albums of all time, I think the only ones to compare to it are 100% Awaken My Love, also by Childish Gambino. Two that come close are Lucana in the House of Mirrors by Kamauu, and Luv 4 Rent by Smino. But listen to whatever you want, I’m loving the reactions!

The funny thing about what he's wearing on the album cover. He wore exactly a Hawaiian shirt and some brown shorts throughout the entire press release of the album. And also I believe a winter hat but you'd have to look at some interviews for that, He also released a short film I forgot What it was called, but there were 2 versions. There was the minute version and then there was which I believe was called the internet version. It was to point out that some people don't even care to watch a 27 minute video. So they just use the internet version like a Vine. Or perhaps now a TikTok, which is obviously become very still the same thing as over 10 years ago.

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. I used to drive around and park at random places at night to listen to it on the roof of my car. Flight of the Navigator moving into Zealots of Stockholm is next level. Edit: Also so glad Rod Sr is liking it! (I’m on Flight of the Navigator)
This is so ironic I was just listening to this album again the other day lol but yeah Gambino was ahead of his time with this one. Some really great tracks and at his best, he really could keep up with most mainstream rappers at the time, bar for bar. You can hear his hunger to be the best and also hear Kanye influence. You also hear his versatility in ability to rap/sing or even tap into other genres. He’s a genius.
If you’re gonna do Chance you should really start with 10Day so your dad can see the full story of how he got suspended from school for a stupid weed charge and turned it into the biggest independent hip hop career of all time. It makes Acid Rap and Coloring Book hit that much harder
Have you ever thought of listening to $uicideboy$? May be a little out of the style, but they have very deep lyrics. Either listen to Long Term Effects of Suffering, or Sing me a Lullaby my Sweet Temptation those two are very good if you have not listened to $uicideboy$ before. Love the content though! Keep it up!
