In my opinion Beg Forgiveness is just insane. Absolute masterpiece, it's just beautiful. From the beat, the repetitive lyrics, the MEANING of the lyrics, it's incredible.
The thing about Bianca and the “back to me” line, Bianca was wearing very shocking stuff before being with Kanye so people accusing him of controlling is just hating in my opinion
@@jordannorris2406you never know what happens behind closed doors and her behaviour has completely changed when with him, yes we shouldn’t be accusing but we also shouldn’t turn a blind eye.
bro it’s literally just a kick and a mediocre chris brown performance 😂 mix is so bad u can the audio frequencies sound like AI when it peaks, cool aspects but goes on way to long imo
1 song that brings back the old Ye ain't enough. There's also plenty ignorant songs, juvenile lines over crappy beats that cancel that out. There's a couple others i like though
In music, "paperwork" is a Brazilian musical genre. It's called "funk" it's one of the biggest popular genres here in Brazil... this particular sound is a sample from DJ Rocca, who is a "funk" DJ.
Fantano is a professional hater I haven’t heard him make any music as memorable as even the worst Kanye song so who gives a fuck what a music critic has to say being a musician is coooer than a music critic 😳 he needs to stop hating
Well that’s the thing, these guys are reactors not critics. Im not saying that we should disregard their opinions, but what I am saying is that critics pick apart each aspect of a project including the lyrics, beats, flow, just everything and anything you could think of while reactors just listen to it and judge based off what their ears are telling them. Not a problem with that, but it explains why critics aren’t as favorable to the music.
Schoolboy Q got a banger, then imo donda first listen for me was better than this album. I know it’s a collab of dolla sign being on all the song but for me it got to repetitive…
I feel like the whole "kanye is controlling Bianca" is a bit misogynistic, she's a grown women and has been dressing like this even before she met and married Ye.
not the greatest but his coolest era.. the outfits, Glow in the dark tour, VH1 Storytellers. MBDTF era still the best, SNL 2010, runaway at VMA 2010, coachella 2011, he had to go crazy to save his career. they can't do shit to him no more since then
Paid when it was played at the Miami listening party two months ago was one of the standout tracks. It started out with an a cappella intro that’s been cut short here and that was a really cool misdirection originally so you had no idea that you were about to get this kind of track once the instrumental dropped in. Ty Dolla $ign verse came first , Setting the tone that this was going to be a “stripper song “and then when you had Kanye come in with his funny high-pitched verse, he was referencing Roxanne, which is a similar theme and basically just doing something really sonically different with his voice and just kind of breaking up the monotony of the whole thing and then, as soon as his verse ended, the beat pick back up again, and that energy started, got dumped back into the instrumentals. By the time this song made it to the album, Those few subtle tweaks really just the delivery of it all. I think people are confused by Kanye. I think the song just feels more flat by not having the a cappella vocal intro.
@@eatmakock3646 No the album is trash. Terrible lyrics, 0 substance from Ye, mixing is off and Kanye’s flows are garbage. Burn, Problematic and Gibbs verse are the stand outs on the album
Vultures is a group album so knowing that I love it. Everyone had a chance to shine. Kanye shined most on the back end. But awaiting Ye solo album next.
I love your reaction to GOOD (DONT DIE). For me best song on the album by a mile. No real politics in the song, great sample even if it is a cover. Feels like something straight out of 808s and heartbreak, more specifically reminds me of street lights.
i felt the same way and the moment it got deleted on Spotify and co. was sooo tragic. Now after a month, I heard it again and it makes me so sad that it got deleted.
43:38 I think the voice you're hearing is the demo vocal melody by Ty / Kanye that has been chopped and modulated. I think it's the original idea for the hook melody as it's quite similar to what Ty sings!
@@Podus81it seems like he’s having some sort of crisis honestly. He’s chronically online arguing with literal teens and spewing his political opinion and has completely politicized everything that it’s started to seep into his reviewing. He’s becoming the next H3
Wow! I really loved this. I was today years old when I discovered this dad/son genre for music reviews. This is the third one I've listened to today for Kanye's Vulture 1. All are uniquely different. 💞💞💕💕
Gotta show Dad most of the previous albums in order to show how Ye evolved and you can hear bits of every album in theses songs. Been waiting for y'all to react to new Ye !!
Mannnnn I’m not even a dababy fan but you can’t say “controversial people like r Kelly, Marilyn Manson, and dababy” like they’re in the same category🤣🤣
The sample from the shouting of North's song apparently comes from a volleyball match where a girl shouts at another "You don't want no problems you just talk like you do" but it got cut out
When you go through Kanye, i think you should go in chronological order. You can really see the ebbs and flows of Kanye's journey. He's a musical genius despite his antics.
Such a great reaction guys! Love it! I love both of your perspectives and how detailed they were in regard to each song. A very refreshing reaction ❤ thanks
The new turning the tables!! You guys bring something new to this and I really feel attached to your dad already. If you guys are going to do all of Kanye’s albums I may get the patreon if it’s cheap enough. It would be cool to see you guys do graduation next and go in order. This album being new and so suffering from his first two was cool to see your dad adjusting to it
The mike Tyson bit. I don't think you understood. When mike says that what Ye says are affirmations people use for success he's talking about "self talk". How you gear yourself up before nerve racking situations, or what you tell yourself to keep yourself going, "I am a god", "I am the blood of the dragon", or the one I repeat to myself "I am a human. I am alive." Those are affirmations.
Being creative and not being scared on taking risks making hit records that also have that classic feel to them and on top of that..having a real message is what makes kanye west a genius. Not many artist in music history have 10 classic albums 7 of his own and 3 as a producer for the rappers albums below.. Jay z - the blueprint Common - Be Pusha T - Daytona kanye has 84 platinum songs out of 184 songs 75 Grammy nominations.. the 4th most ever kanye won 24 Grammy's in total. Classics 🎖 Mainstream success 🎖 Critically acclaimed 🎖 All huge achievements it's super rare and kanye has influenced pretty much everyone we listen to. You can hate the man but you can't deny his one of a kind legendary career.
@@zachp5701forreal dude that young cat cant even do real rap hes all but a punk not a hustla real spit yeah dude take me back to the 90s when there was real rap like Will Smith and Ben Shapiro
and yes we have this kinda sample in brazilian music and it's called "Funk Mandela". That's a Favela song and it's common heard by people from favela, actually from São Paulo.
I love that your pops brought up Bone Thugs. As a Midwesterner, between Bone Thugs, Twista, Eminem, Freddie, Tech N9ne, etc., you learn how to rap that way. We call it “chopping” or “sniping,” depending on where you’re from. Even Kanye has mentioned learning how to do that in interviews. It probably helped him say “Beautifulbigtittybuttnakedwomendontjustfallouttheskyyouknow” 😅
thanks for sharing, I love Kanye and I only just started getting into him because of his controversial antics but ive always liked some of his old songs and I just love his personality, however this album is different to what I usually listen to yet I still enjoyed it.
