my dude done got the "betterhelp"sponsorship; that's how you know your channel done made it, haha; with all love and respect, keep doing y'all. "This dick ain't freeeee!!"
Pops would love snoop doggy tha last meal album. All of them are recreated funk beats. He would know most of them. With a couple Nate dogg features. He would love it
This album is insane the run from Heartless, to Faith, to Blinding Lights, to In Your Eyes, to Save Your Tears is crazy and an interlude later, you get AFTER HOURS; crazi
Man! The After Hours Era Was Crazy. This album saved me from the pandemic. my favorite song from the album is Hardest To Love. The Production And Lyrics fit so perfectly together. a perfect 10/10 masterpiece.
At the end of after hours The Weeknd character "dies" the beginning of Dawn Fm is him waking up in "purgatory". The trilogy is based on the divine comedy his newer album would fall under "paradise", after that album The Weeknd character will be retired.
My favorite song off this album is 1000% “Faith” it’s simply a masterpiece, what The Weeknd accomplished w/ this album is insane to incorporate the 80’s synths and production into the modern era of music is just outstanding nothing but great music all around on this entire album.😮💨🙌🏽🔥🎯💯
I always say this song is underrated. I think it’s one of the best songs he’s ever made. And it’s up for debate if it’s his best. This and Wicked Games are my favorites.
The Weeknd my favorite artist ever. saw him live twice and plan on seeing him again for his last tour as The Weeknd when his next album comes out. After Hours is a classic so i am MORE than ready for this reaction! y’all are awesome much love
After Hours is one of if not the greatest albums of our time. The pure list of straight bangers in this album is insane. And then you have the absolute highlights like Faith, Blinding Lights and After Hours.
Best album this century! Saved some lives in the pandemic, I'm sure of that 🙌 Saw him twice last summer, and both were absolutely unreal concerts. Cannot imagine the buzz when you have 80,000 people singing your tunes back to you. Dad will love Mike Dean when he breaks the sax out during In Your Eyes 🤣
man i wish your dad a happy long life, my all time fav artist is the weeknd and he has been my musical therapist since i was like 10 yo, i feel so happy when his music is shared to others especially the other generations XOTWOD
In faith Abel says “ I take half a xan and I still stay awake 🫨” that’s a shot at Drake “I did half a xan 13 hours til I land had me out like a light 😴“
i have a huge poster of this album on my wall.easily the album of the decade so far. this album isnt an album, its an experience.every track is beautifully produced and has insane replay value.the mixing of pop electro rnb and rap is gorgeous.i say this will be like thriller is today in 20 30 years
My top 3 from this album are: Too Late is one of my fave song, the production by Illangelo is INSANE. Escape from L.A. is the best "slow" song on the album. Faith is a masterpiece! The transistion, sound, vocal, the journey. Speechless
Bro the 80s inspired songs is what made this album for me, its what sets Abel's music apart from the rest. Every album is different and bold in musical style. This is easily top 5 albums for me.
I appreciate the opportunity to see you and your father bond over music. My father would pretty much never do this with me, and I love this sort of interaction with friends and family. Provides some catharsis for that feeling. Love y'all.
Your interpretation of the ending of after hours into the dawn fm album is exactly what its trying to express. As listeners we are following the Lyrical I ,called The Weeknd, die. The next album is announced to be the last album of „The Weeknd“ meaning this Artistic Persona will end up in the afterlife in the next album and Abel Tesfaye will start using his actual name as Stage name
What a special album man, the way he crafted this album was perfection, you can really feel the story he’s telling and the how his emotions and thought process changes with every track. Can’t wait for his next release, he’s truly perfected his craft over the last decade. Big ups you and pops
love your channel never need to skip anything, your relationship with your pop reminds me of mine with my dad we vibe over music.. keep doing em #much love
As an avid weekend listener, thanks boys ✊🏾👊🏾🤝🏾 was just listening to high for this and trust issues by him earlier during chest training. Instantly gave me 20 more hp ahaha and pops in Paris metaphor 🤣🤣🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾🔥😮💨😮💨😮💨
One of the most flawless albums out there. Can't believe it's already 4 years old... I remember going for a jog while listeing to it for the first time. And it was really special, because it was at sunset. I was hooked right after ''Alone Again''. And the sun was pretty much gone when the ''After Hours'' track came on. That made the experience even better. Amazing album. Sadly the bonus tracks are not on here. ''Nothing compares'' especially is a must listen imo.
scared to live is the most underrated song in the album. the vocals are crazy and lyrics are mad deep if you listen to them carefully. a song that you could heavily relate to after a breakup or shit like that
I’m so glad you guys reacted to this album it is one of of the best Weeknd albums. This album put him surpassed Drake as king of Toronto. Btw listen to my dear Melancholy your dad would definitely enjoy that classic EP
How this album didn't win or get any Grammy noms in 21 was the biggest snub of all time. I don't usually buy CD'S anymore but I went and bought that album the day after I found out about that. Throw the man some money however small amount it was, for the best album of that year.
The funniest part about the snubbing is it was completely intentional. They wanted him to perform but the sb was going to be at the same day so he chose that instead and then the Grammys ended up being pushed back anyways. They burned that bridge for absolutely no reason. Cause no person in their right mind is nominating yummy over the biggest song of all time.
As an OG fan of The Weeknd, Escape From LA, Faith & After Hours are easily the best songs from this album end of. Don’t get me wrong Blinding Lights is a banger but it turned to a radio hit so that has its strains, however ever since seeing him live the After Hours outro hits soooo differently now 😍
Rod Jr vibing out to this album is literally me every time I listen to this. I'm curious what the 80s were like for Rod Sr. If these songs were putting you asleep did he just hibernate a whole decade?
Hey guys, I tripped over a new record I've never heard until today 4/15/23. "Paul's Boutique", by The Beastie Boys. It took me on a musical Odyssey. I know Pops is gonna LUVVVV them one's n two's scratching and the deep bassline drops. It's great. Watching you together INSPIRES me to be a better person! Have a beautiful week, beautiful souls!!! God Bless you all 💜
Pops reaction to the “80s songs” was my exact reaction to the whole Dawn FM album. That sound wasn’t for me at all. But I did buy the limited edition vinyl album 🤣😂🤣
