I can't even see how they came to that conclusion, like no shit chaos would clearly be good. You have more chances at getting a damage up/tear modifier rather than the standard boss room pool items. Like wtf?

I haven't seen any comment about it yet, so sorry if I'm blind and you have been told a million times already buuuut... the challenge is still "only" to the 2nd boss, not Mom. That hasn't changed from AB+ (they can't change the UI for the goal).

Challenge is still only two floors, that’s why it always starts by saying something about “Dad wants you to clear his basement” or something

Not kidding, i actually first tried this crap! First floor: Sharp Straw, normal basement, lucky enemies, Duke of Flies and Synthoil. Second floor: An item room right next to the starting room with Butt Bombs and a golden bomb in it - which practically killed everything in 3 seconds every room. The fight was Larry Jr. Insanely lucky lol

@@AaumondHD the challenge has always been called Dad's Home+, there's no "Dad's Home" only. You only have to beat the second floor boss. I'm assuming the indicator is set to mom because it can't go lower than that.

Just tried it myself, it took me like an hour to beat. Item room gave me a glass D4, rerolled my items into Belly Jelly and Gnawed Leaf. Then I got a crawlspace to a black market and skipped all enemies on floor won. Now I just had to wait for them to die.

My strategy to beat this challenge is Hold R until you get mini boss next to you, now you farm card drops from sloth. READ CAREFULLY get temperance card use hearts from the lovers and justice now you have a blood bag keep killing sloth until you get glass spindown get Brimstone get soul hearts from hierophant get the emperor win it took me over 40 min of killing sloth over and over again to beat this challenge.

Tbf, I had both a shop and the item room next to the spawn after about 20 attempts. One thing I noticed was that shopkeepers would actually keep spawning in cleared rooms and they don't despawn. So I found a secret room with a nickle shopkeeper, and built a bunch of them up and use my bomb to get a ton of nickles and then proceeded to clean out the shop. It was a deck of cards and booster pack, not too bad, but it was something. Fortunately I got 'The Emperor" with the boss being Monstro. So I was lucky. Hierophant and Death cards honestly where the only carry. Along with a room that had water barrels, which have the same effect as shopkeepers, so that also helped with hoards of enemies and backtracking. Since you can repeatedly enter and exit rooms before the doors shut.

My saving grace with this challenge was getting Famine for the first boss and getting a free soul heart every time it spawned as a blue champion

It's still RNG if Chaos actually hooks you up with something good. At that point, just give the player an orbital or piercing. That helps you no matter what.

You could make the respawning mobs comeo through (indestructable) portals with a set timer - the further you go, the faster the mobs spawn

OMG I recognized some of the music in this vid and was like "where is this from I know it". I recognized around 9:30 that they're excerpts from Pictures at an Exhibition. Really sad story behind the work and one of my favorites. Compliments to the editor

@@lunarkomet Oh yeah so it is. It's called "Cathedral Pictures" in Animusic 2 but it's no doubt essentially a rendition of Pictures at an Exhibition, specifically the last movement called "Great Gate of Kiev" and my favorite of the whole work.

I think this would be a better challenge if you played as tainted judas. Dark arts would allow for more dps and make otherwise undodgeable situations somewhat fair with the invincibility it grants, as well as a way to clear out weaker enemies to give yourself some room that way you don't just get hit coming out of invincibility because all the space is taken up.

Took me around 2 to 3 hours until I got 2 semi short floors and a 20% planetarium on the 2nd floor after skipping the first item room and getting venius that charmed enemies to kill each other for me

This challenge is peak RNG bullshit, the only way I managed to beat it is noticing that stuff like explosive barrels actually also get carried over from room to room, so I abused that to carry over a ludicrous amount of them and blow everything up

I got so lucky on this one. Got Kamikaze in the item room, then a trapdoor to the next floor in the curse room and from the floor 2 starting room it was like 3 rooms to the boss fight so i just kamikaze'd every room and luckily dropped some hearts on the way. Seeing your struggle, I've come to appreciate my luck.

Hey hutts i Have intresting challenge idea. Start as tainted Apollyon with - mask of infamy, cone head, metal plate. Every time u take damage u trigger r key effect. Your goal is to defeat boss Rush and hush. Only holy mantle is banned

I found this challenge quite easy with binge eater, because the damage up you get from killing enemies is about the same as red stew, so with the smorgasbord of enemies you can kill them all quite quickly. I did get soft locked in the item room though

I cool thing would be that items room and boss room have sequentially more items. The second item room has 2 items, the third 3... The 4th boss room spawn 4 items ...etcetc

So you only need to beat floor 2, fortunately. For myself, I beat it by getting a Calling Card item from a curse room, since it summons an ally every room for you. But now I have no idea what the Green House unlockable does.
